BURN Austin

Austin calls itself the “Live Music Capital of the World”. We envision live, spontaneous praise igniting all across this city and beyond. Spontaneous praise which brings the habitation of Almighty God and the change that must take place when you enter into His presence! We cannot stay the same when we encounter the living God.

Spontaneous praise was seen in the following vision: There was a spoked wagon wheel with the hub being on the University of Texas campus. The wagon wheel began to burn starting at the hub and spreading down the spokes to the wheel itself.

We believe that from the hub, every place a spoke was attached to the wheel represents a gate surrounding Austin, but not just Austin. We see it as gates to our city, state and nation. UT has a saying, “What starts here changes the world!”

A fire is kindling in small groups all across our city. The BURN-Austin will be like throwing gasoline on all the small fires, igniting a wild fire of passion and love for Jesus that will transform this entire region!
