destined for glory. destined for the sound.

We just returned back from one of the most beautiful regions of the nation. Every time I fly into Seattle I am floored by the the wonder and magnificence of God as we pass right over snow capped Mount Rainer. Its almost an eery beauty majestic thing…it seems as if you can look down into the depths of the earth when you slowly pass over this still VERY active volcano.
It captivates me every time…I wonder how people can look at this gorgeous facet of creation and deny the Creator of it all. This staple mountain is even on every license plate in the state for crying out loud!! Anyway…my heart has always been drawn to the mountains, the ocean, and people who are hungry for more. This place has all that and then some.

Sometimes hanging out in the midwest too long can build apathy and lethargy in your heart. Its easier to blend into the “church culture” in Dallas where Bill Johnson, Chuck Pierce, Cindy Jacobs or someone powerful comes like every weekend and you can ride on their anointing from week to week without digging too far into what God is saying. Oh yea….we’ve all been there.

So my heart longs for the places that are written off by many believers. The places too hard or too “demonic” (the most common prophetic person excuse) or whatever. I think God has His eye on these places in this hour. He’s leaving the 99 to get the 1. The funny thing is that the people in these cities are really the most hungry and starving for God out there. When the presence comes…even if its just a drop…they just crumble and weep because of their sensitivity to the Lord.

We experienced this and more last weekend. The most amazing musicians I know traveled up with me to Seattle to unleash their new sounds of redemption before the Lord. Seattle has a massive mantle on it for creativity. The sounds of Jimmy Hendrix and Kurt Cobain were birthed in this great city and literally brought the world upside down. The enemy came with his best against their lives and thwarted their sound to unleash drugs, sex, violence, and the occult on a generation…and it worked. Millions of people in thousands of cultures were influenced (and still are) by their sound. He then convinced these psalmists destined for glory to kill themselves. You can see this pattern repeated many times throughout history as the enemy will steal, kill and destroy every creative musician he can get his hands on. His plan hasn’t changed.

We are in a year of redemption and God is restoring back what was once stolen. He’s making “all things new” again and thats the mandate we came with. I had some of the most powerful times of worship I’ve had in the last 5 years this past weekend!! Heaven met hunger and it was glorious! Songs were birthed and captured that carry creativity and influence on them. When you are in that environment with that mantle…it just comes out of you! I look forward to seeing what God will do with our feeble efforts as we caught them on tape this time.

Bob Jones was supposed to speak at one of the gatherings but his illness prevented him from coming. So I was picked to take one of his sessions..WOW…if thats not enough to scare a person to death!! Try walking in that dudes shoes!! I unleashed my usual tirade of BURN 101 gear complete with the Psalm 132 Davidic mandate and Tabernacle of David lingo. But this time I tied it into the destiny over the region…and prophesied building a place where new sounds and creativity would be released again. This time around it would roll back the veil of darkness covering the hearts of the people and usher in the Kingdom! As I was speaking, people just began to weep and weep. It was surreal…I have carried this mandate all over the world this year…but there was such a hunger in the people and it broke open a new paradigm. I am still getting pounded with radical emails from that night. Several people came running up to me afterwards and hugged me crying on my shoulder “THIS IS IT!! THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!! THIS IS THE ANSWER FOR OUR CITY!! THE PRESENCE!!!” They began to convince me after I had just spent time convincing them! I actually came away from the whole deal with with so much faith in my heart for this continuing journey we are on.

I have once again never felt more in tune with what God is doing on the earth. Seattle and the rest of the west coast are going to catch on blazing fire…the hunger is there…the people are ready. The region is destined for glory…and destined for the sound.

Seattle will blaze for sure. They are launching their first BURN 10 days from now on the 40 year anniversary of when the Beatles first played and unleashed their sounds over the city.

This time around…its the song of redemption.

I was just talking with a buddy, and well, I found it again. Scripture is so confirming that we are to seek Jesus, who pursues the will of the Father for/in/through us. He has interceded for us, and speaks to us through the Spirit. Jesus, the spoken word of God, breathed into man in the beginning. My saving Grace, my Salvation, my source of Light, and hope of a new dawn (Luke 2:76-79 Luke 1:76-79)

We are to seek Jesus. The King of all kings, Lord of lords. Perfect and righteous one! To think that scripture won’t return void! (Isaiah 55) The promises of God will not return to Himself empty, the author and finisher (perfecter) of our faith. The prayers of a righteous man availeth much - Jesus was a man yes? Was his prayer that all men might know Him (Jesus), the One God hath sent? Peter then tells us God is not slack on His Promise (which is salvation for all who call on his name), that Jesus came, that we might know Him, the One true God!

ANYWAY - Rabbit trail - The Earth is the Lord’s and everything in it. We are amazed in cathedrals and museums that depict works of incredible accomplishment in their beauty. They suck our attention into focus; causing us to remember the Good Lord; beautiful works of art in these massive structures which give us incredible glimpses to heaven - high ceilings drawing our attention upward. This is the mind-blowing concept, for all of you that have stayed tuned in long enough to hear - The Earth was created. God was pleased with it, including the man he placed in it. The earth is to be His cathedral. The works of our hands shall proclaim the beauty and righteous splendor of God. Our praise of Him is His Glory. Therefore, when we align ourselves, in that we are beings of worship to the Most High God, we join creation in singing Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God Almighty! Who was! Who is! He’ll come again!Divine purpose is that we would be sanctified by the Father’s truth, as His word is Truth. (John 17:17)

So most of this is probably random, as my mind cannot even begin to capture the goodness that is in the air right now, nor write half as fast as I am thinking. Therefore, you get pieces, and you can read pieces, and I pray that you find some sort of a deeper revelation of intimacy, glory, salvation, LOVE most of all, and acceptance of you into the Kingdom that God has called you toward through Christ, THE KING over all the earth. Serve Jesus, and you will know the will of the Father, Creator. Which is to know Him (Christ) whom God has sent.Let us sing your praise oh God of the Heavens! Let our music and service to your Son, King Jesus be the drawstrings that loose the glory of heaven on the earth! May we recognize you as the Maker of all things good, including the Word, which You spoke in the beginning before time!

Greetings family and friends, Brittany Ecklind here……

I just wanted to give you all an update with how things are coming along with my upcoming journey to Indonesia. God has His hand on this mission. I know without a shadow of a doubt that He wants our team there, and He has major plans for that country.

I now have a team of 4 people. John Parks, Rob Reilley, and Natalia Baker are all from Houston, Texas. I met them at the Shatter Conference in Dallas and immediately felt a connection. They have been involved with Burn Houston and have a heart to see the Nations surrender to the Lord of ALL. I could not have asked for a better group of radical passionate worshipers to partner with me.

I have known about this mission for about 7 months now, so I have been preparing financially and with much needed prayer. Our deadline for the full amount was due on February 1st and I already had 50% covered. I knew that this is where God wanted me and I had faith He would provide, BUT I must admit I was getting a little anxious! PRAISE THE LORD…..
On January 2nd of this new year, God set up a total divine appointment with the couple who would write me a whopping $13,000 check. I had met these wonderful people just ONE hour before they radically gave. What an unbelievable confirmation. What a testimony to God’s faithfulness to His children.

God is so in love with Indonesia. He has His eye on those people, and He is calling out to them! I am so thrilled that I am able to go and be apart of this Historical time. We are just 4 of the army God is raising up to see all tribes, tongues, and nations bow before Him in worship.

I just want you all to know that we are in this together. You are sending this team out with your support and intercession. We could not do this with out all of you. I just want to thank you so much for believing in this.
Your monthly support is still greatly needed. I will be able to give to the local ministries and the orphanage we will be involved with. Your support is being used to see Indonesia saved from the generations of bondage. Jesus reigns in Indonesia.

I will be keeping you all updated more frequently now that our departure is coming up. March 8th, we are all leaving from Houston.

We are burning in Park City, UT to see culture shift and the Presence of God released on a generation through vertical worship and prayer. We believe the Acts 2 crowd will come in “bewilderment” and sense and feel the power of God as we build the Tabernacle of David so that the remnant (or rest of humanity) may seek the Lord (Acts 15:17, Amos 9:11).

We are the BURNING tribe with mandate to take entire cities, regions, cultures, and nations through vertical worship and prayer. God called us to the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UTAH to shift culture and see the Presence of God invade Hollywood, the film industry, the artists, the minstrels, and the lost!! We will contend with radical and “happy” intercession until we see God move and DO what He’s promised!

Is there hope?

That is what I am asking God right now. Is there hope for our culture and this generation that is floundering to find its purpose caught in the middle of pop culture and humanism?? Unbelief and selfishness are the motives and reasons for the way much of the West lives today.

I sometimes wonder if we should just write the West off (been there done that) and run to a secluded island tribe that have never heard the name of Jesus or hide in the Midwest somewhere bracing for the horrible tribulation.

Theres gotta be more than this…faith HAS to spring up…we have to BELIEVE what God says in His book…that a nation CAN change in the moment. That entire nations, generations, and cultures can repent in an instant and seek the face of God again. For crying out loud..Israel went through this cycle numerous times in the Bible and God never wrote them off. They were like a broken record.

So what is our problem then? Fear of man? Insecurity? Think “they” (being the horrible lost souls that supposedly hate us so much) will eat us for lunch and send us home crying back to our comfortable four walls? WE WALK IN THE SAME POWER THAT RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD PEOPLE!! (I’m speaking this to myself too!) HE WHO IS IN US IS GREATER THAN HE WHO IS IN THE WORLD!!

Right?

This weekend we are at SUNDANCE– the largest film festival in the world hidden in the mountains of Park City. In this quaint little snowy Utah town, culture is created for the entire world. Through the release and debut of some of the most moving films of our day that millions and potentially billions will one day see, trends are set to create the way we view the world, God and each other.

So what are we gonna do this weekend in this town slammed full of Hollywoods finest and hottest stars who are setting the standard for a generation? What can we do? What is our grand scheme and strategy to see this arena invaded with Gods glory and power?

The answer is so simple and weak that it is almost offensive to many.

Worship. Pray. Repeat.

That’s it! That’s the grand answer lined out in the Bible and the ONLY answer that can cause the realities of Heaven to come to earth and the Presence of God invade culture. Releasing the sound has ALWAYS been the answer and ALWAYS will be the answer.

We are in a generation and an hour where our culture has a form of godliness but blatantly denies its power (2 Tim 3:5).

This Goliath spirit is covering the people in unbelief and even mocking the Bride of Christ saying “where is the God of America??”

We are through with shrinking back, holding down and trying to be relevant to a godless culture searching for an experience with their Maker. Our only shot at this deal is to believe that as we WORSHIP AND CRY OUT, CONTENDING FOR GOD TO SHOW UP…that the crowd would gather in bewilderment as in Acts 2 and God would release Holy purifying fire from Heaven as in the day of Elijah that would destroy the work of the enemy and release the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN ON EARTH.

So…back the question at hand. Is there hope? Any hope?

We wouldn’t be here 10,000 feet up in the mountains in 10 degree snowy weather on the Main street public square crying out to God in broad daylight in foolishness if we didn’t think so.

There will be a sweet video coming tomorrow that shows the release of this!! I pray it encourages you and builds your faith to believe that THERE IS HOPE!!!

Directors and BURN leaders across the globe…

Some powerful and incredible stuff happened this last weekend during out time in the KC summit. So much stuff happened it will take weeks to unpack and verbalize it…but its monumental…like the thing I want to pour my entire life into type of deal.
Instead of me ranting and raving and hyping you up about it (because you hear that from me all the time!)…and so you know how monumental it all is…I asked Adam and Keith to write up summaries on the past weekend and its implications into all that we do and the direction we are headed on a GLOBAL scale with BURN 24-7.
Now this wont all happen immediately or change overnight…but we are taking a STRONG stance in saying that THIS IS WHERE WE ARE GOING…and we’ll organize and structure things together this way for future.
I will be sending an important document out later this week that will reveal the structure, leadership, important dates for 08 and other things you will need to know regionally, nationally, and globally…so please keep looking for that.

Lastly I want to say how honored and humbled I am by this journey we are in…this fast and my time last weekend has broken me and opened me up in ways I never thought could happen. I feel more aligned with Gods heart and connected than ever before..I am humbled and weighted down (in a good way) on this mandate for our lives. Its advancing the Kingdom and seeing JESUS come back to the earth - thats what this whole thing is about.

ADAMS RESPONSE:
Dear Burning Ones, Just a quick note to catch you up on all the incredible things God did over New Years. Sean, Kate, Keith Luker and myself all went out to the Luke 18 Summit hosted by IHOP in KC. We were so encouraged to be with hundreds of other leaders who are burning in their spirits for houses of prayer to be launched all across the nation. The Lord poured out massive favor on the Burn team as He connected us with warriors like Lou & Jesse Engle, Wes & Stacey Campell, Brian Kim, Jill Austin, YWAM Leadership and many others. This is not name dropping, it is God aligning us both spiritually and naturally with the Fathers & Mothers of the Prayer & Worship Movement. These people have been pouring out their lives in prayer & fasting for years to see the momentum that has been created by the Holy Spirit. All of them directly commented on the favor of God that they see resting on the this weak “wineskin” we call The Burn. Sean, Keith & myself were given the opportunity to share our hearts with the whole conference about why God’s Eye is fixed on the restoration of David’s Tabernacle. I shared from Amos 9:11 about how this whole thing is about creating a habitation of His Presence in the earth so that a prodigal generation may seek Him and find Him! Don’t ever forget that! This is’nt just about feeling good and getting goose bumps, it isActs 15:17…”that all of humanity may seek Him.” Be encouraged by this: When it’s two in the morning and you are burning in a room with two other people, you are establishing God’s government in the earth and creating a well of His Presence in your region so that the lost may seek & find Him! That is the high calling we have responded to by His grace. Opportunities coming our way include and invitation from Lou Engle to stage a Burn on the Mall in Washington DC at The Call DC in August. Wes & Stacey Campell are heading up the International Calls in places like Nairobi, Amsterdam and South America. They want to partner with us to plant Burn Furncaces through The Call in some of the darkest places on earth! We had an amazing heart connection with two key YWAM leaders. Arnando leads a massive DTS base in the heart of Amsterdam. He has invited us to come in April and teach on the Davidic Tabernacle and launch a furnace among his students that will shake the demonic strongholds in the “Red Light” District and release power for revial in one of the most perverse and broken places in Europe. Do it Lord!!! YWAM has asked Andy Byrd to develop houses of prayer & worship for their DTS bases all over the world. Andy has come to us for help. YWAM has been so instrumental in raising up a generation of radical missionaries to go to the Nations. Now they are seeing the desperate need to have this element of davidic/prophetic worship & prayer to fuel their efforts. The Burn Leadership Team will play an instrumental role in helping Andy plant Burn Furnaces to baptize these students in even great fire and glory so that when they go out the Nations will SHAKE!!! We need grace in this hour. Many of you have joined us in this eight day fast to ask God to anoint our weak and puny efforts with the power that raised Jesus out of the grave. Now seven days into this fast I’m asking God pour Himself into my heart, to break me open and pour me out on my generation for His Glory. With all this favor and momentum I ask You Lord: “Who am I that You are mindful of me?” Embrace your weakness in this season, cry out for breakthrough in your cities and let Him blow your mind as He exceeds all that we have asked of Him! Dear Burn Babies: My heart is beating wildly and my head is swirling (in a good way) with all that God has done in the past few days. Sean, Kate, Adam Cates and I have been here in Kansas City at IHOP for the www.Luke18Project.comconference. We have followed up with some relationships and been in an awesome think tank of heavenly dreams as we strategized together with several other world leaders in the worship and prayer movements. After many hours of prayer, meetings and strategy, we have amazingly clarified much of the vision and strategy for BURN 24-7 for the next 10 years! The prophetic confirmations through dreams, conversations, and just heart to heart connection with brothers and sisters who are DOING IT in the nations of the earth and America has been awesomely intense! God’s plans as usual trumped ours in several significant ways and Sean and I followed the rushing river of the Spirit this week. Let me try to explain what I mean… God is looking for partnership between individuals and ministries in a very realtional network to get the job done in these days. The pleasure of the Lord seems to be strongly after GLOBAL DOMINATION THROUGH INDIGENOUS FURNACES OF WORSHIP AND PRAYER throughout the whole earth!
