Everyone: Please read this carefully and methodically. What I am writing I honestly believe is of upmost importance to the heart of the Father. We can be used by Him, partner with him with our prayers and worship to change this situation…… So to get right to it…….I am currently in school getting a degree in political science, and one of my classes this semester is “Human Traffiking and Contempory Slavery”. A sobering subject and quite a party killer! But seriously this thing is so on the heart of God guys, many times in the middle of class I am crazy close to weeping because the Presence and absolute love of God falls on me for his people that are literally(and spiritually) in slavery! We have to be a part of what God is doing in this, I believe so desperately that us crying out to the Father in the midnight hours we can put a stop to this!!!!Some numbers for you……- 27 million people around the world exist has slaves (sex slaves & labor slaves)- 800,000-900,00 NEW people(children of Jesus) are enslaved every year. 80% are women and 50% are children.- selling people is the 3^rd largest criminal activity in the world, behind selling illegal drugs and arms. The Int’l Labour Office estimates this generates $32 billion per year .- Every year 1 million children forcibly take part in the commercial sex industry. So something that is crazy, and I think just another showing how God has stratigicly placed the Burn. The other day in class my professor put up a slide showing the “routes” that sex traffikers take victims across the US. The first thing that I noticed was how many of them are where Burns are located or are close too!!!! Here is a short list of some of the cities…..(I have also attached the slide that shows the routes in the US, take a look)Seattle, Sacramento, Denver, Dallas, OKC, Mineapolis/St.Paul, Houston, Detroit, Boston, NYC, Richmond.These are just the major cities! Most likely, by their proximity to bigger cities, I would guess that every single Burn city has human trafficking go through its limits. And mind you this is only the routes for Sex Trafficking in the US, this doesn’t even include those that are forced into labor. Human Trafficking is something that is happening in our communities, not just overseas!! We need to be lifting this up before the Father!! His children(literally those under 18) are being sold for Sex. His children are being sold to be nannies, and maids, and to pick crops. They are constantly physically, verbally, and sexually abused. We must open our eyes to this, bring this before the Father and plead and interceed for those who can not!! We need to pray that the routes that are taken in and between our cities would be abolished and that the Love of the Father would overtake the traffickers and pimps and that instead routes of the His Presence and His Love would be established!I know that is hardcore guys,, but we need to be hardcore and we need to listen to the heart of the Father for his children. We can be a part of downfall of Trafficking just by Burning!!! Let God Arise and his Enemies be scattered!!!!

This conference will be a time of gathering the church body for the purpose of awakening the love of the bride for the bridegroom. As we join together as one body for the purpose of seeing King Jesus high and lifted up, strongholds will be broken. There is a stirring among the body of Christ that is drawing us closer to Him. Sydney, Australia l Recap of Feb 21-24

So I finally made it home…although I’ve only been away for 2 weeks…it feels like a years worth of things happened while I was gone. The whole trip was a progression and a procession for me. As every day passed…my heart was more captivated by His love for Australia and New Zealand. That was the shift for me…it wasn’t just a nice little trip with conferences, burns, and glory moments (although we had plenty of them!!) in beautiful places in the world (which they very much were!)…it was a deep deep inner working where I experienced the pain, agony and rejection of the entire nation (at least a tiny bit of it) but was completely consumed by the destiny, plans, purposes as well. From the moment I landed in Sydney and I was out “on the rocks” (near the opera house and harbor bridge) for a layover…I couldnt stop singing His songs over the nation. They would seriously come all day long…even in the middle of the night i would wake up…grab my guitar and release something new. I think its just a massive creative mantle all over that nation that has at times been stifled by an exported western church performance thing…. and God is longing for HIS SOUND to be released again in its freshness and newness to awaken a generation back to their LOVE.

The verse that God gave me over and over again to share…and was a mantra for the trip…was out of Isaiah 56:7:

“these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer.”

From start to finish this is what God did everywhere we went. This was especially apparent during out last days in Sydney at Dayspring Church. It was an intense four days full of youth meetings, worship team meetings, conference sessions, weekend services, and BURN sessions. My fingers are raw from wailing on my guitar so hard…my voice was gone…but my spirit is so full of a new LOVE. This church is slammed with some of the most creative, unique, gifted people I’ve ever met. They are tender towards the things of God…and He has placed them in the middle of Sydney to be “watchmen” on the walls on behalf of a nation. Thats a heavy calling for sure…you could feel the weight of it in the meetings.

God took us to deep chambers of love, worship, intercession, warfare and joy like never before. Its almost like the more tired, worn out, and exhausted I got…the thicker the anointing was!! There was a point on saturday night when I launched out with BURN 101 mandate stuff mingled with testimonies from all over the world this year (Amsterdam, Africa, Indo, the States)…and people were so consumed with the Davidic calling in this hour that they crumbled to the ground and began to weep…now this hasn’t been an abnormal thing this year in places where the mandate has been shared. People are letting go of their dreams for their lives and ministry and God is filling us with HIS dream for a generation. Its a massive shift that can only come through deep travail of the Spirit. But that night was different for me…we began to pray over the nation and I was completely riveted inside and out. I began to weep and weep and weep in the meeting as God showed me an a little peek of the love and affection He has for the nation and those running from Him. There was no way for me to “conjure” up that kind of emotion…it was 100% God bombing me with His heart. Every time I go to a new city, nation, people group…I’ve been asking the Lord for a download or His heart for that place. Well…on saturday night…He really answered and it came strong all over me. There was no stopping it…and I didnt want it stopped…even though it was in front of massive people…we were all getting slammed at once.

Then came Sunday night…our first official 2 hour set of BURN SYDNEY. It was just a taste of what is to come I believe this year from burning that will be ignited in that city. It was completely unlike a normal sunday night church service and I’m sure it alarmed many…but it was rich, pure, real, and GOD. We had the stage packed full of musicians, intercessors, and psalmists. We were burning…His songs and sounds were being released….we waiting, danced, soaked, prayed, laughed, and got blazed together with His LOVE. It was full of freshness. We even brought the didgeridoo (Australia indigenous instrument) up and wailed the sound of Heaven out of it! It was unreal! The singers and musicians were launched off into something they’ve never experienced before….God released a transfer from song leading other peoples songs to singing HIS SONG. As I say all the time…that sort of thing can only be “caught” and not taught. I am believing that church and those beautiful people will never be the same after that night of BURNING. I know that I will never be the same…I learned to LOVE deeper and truer…to wait longer…and to fly higher in worship.

That is just a small bit on the last weekend as i’m still in process mode. But it was beautiful and I have made some of the best friends of my life in that short time together. Its so great that BURNING together can unite hearts faster, closer, and truer than any amount of time and history. In these last days God is bringing us all into one accord with each other and all our petty differences by calling us to BURN together. Let His presence be our ONE THING and our common ground. Forget hobbies, personalities, quirks, and moods….lets just rally around the PRESENCE again…thats all we need to bring us together!

I LOVE IT!! My heart aches for Australia the beautiful people I became best friends with…I’ll be back soon…and this time with my gorgeous bride. They will BURN there until Jesus returns and its already begun. I’m going to go there as much as they’ll have me because I believe God is going to use that nation and those people as a “hub” to bring a revolution of LOVE to the world! I’ve had dreams of this massive flame rising in the “great southland of the Holy Spirit” that is so hot and bright it attracts the attention of the world! People are drawn there to catch the fire and take it to the darkest nations on earth.

I will repeat the song in my heart I’ve been singing since I got home…its my prayer and cry..

A NATION FULL OF DESTINY…A PEOPLE WITH AN INHERITANCE….TURN YOUR GAZE BACK OH LORD….

Well this past week has been one of the most incredible and rigorous schedules of my life!!! Its been full on nonstop from start to finish everyday!! But thats the only way to live these days…its like you are in one big swirl with God and His purposes for a generation!

New Zealand was absolutely insane…one of the most beautiful places on earth..every kind of terrain and beauty you can imagine…massive snowcapped rugged peaks to black sand beaches to thick green forests. Its one thing to watch it on “Lord of the Rings” and another to actually see it!! There were a few times driving through the country or walking on the beach and I was completely captivated by the beauty of the Lord…an overwhelming feeling as God was revealing himself to me through His works.

The Kiwi’s (New Zealanders) are a hungry breed…some of the most hungry people I’ve met. The nation sits as the first time zone on the dateline..meaning the SON rises first on their shores. It is located in the south south pacific and is the farthest nation away from Jerusalem - it is literally the “ends of the earth!” The western “system” of the church has successfully been exported from the States (not a good thing) but people are crying out for MORE!! It was totally one of those God things that I even showed up in that nation. When I booked my ticket originally…I had a few days in between weekend conferences and BURN launches and my heart longed to visit New Zealand. I had no clue who I was going to stay with or what I was going to do…I just knew I had to go. This has been the typical story of the last year of our journey…whether its Holland, San Francisco or beyond…when God asks us to go to nation or city….I dont ask questions anymore. Its the life of following the cloud baby!! Somehow…someway…God connected us with the real BURNERS in that nation and it was beautiful!! We had a powerful worship night where I unloaded and spewed out BURN 101 stuff…and then an intimate night of fellowship following with deeper connecting for those who are going to cultivate this SPACE for Gods presence. The family who hosted me are part of our tribe…their kindness and pure hearts blew me away.

Its happening and God is pleased. The remnant has gathered from this beautiful nation and a furnace of the PRESENCE is about to be ignited! LET THE FLAMES RISE LORD!! RELEASE THE “NEW ZEAL” for the presence!!

We are in Sydney now and have gathered lovers from around this beautiful city to blaze..its been some of the most incredible outpourings I’ve ever been apart of during the last few days…lots more to come…

DREAMING TRIBE.

This was the entire purpose for launching the BURN BYRON BAY this past weekend in New South Whales, Australia - OPEN WIDE BABY. It wasn’t to have another great conference…or to gather by the beach and have a huge hippie dreadlock Jesus movement-fest (although it looked like that at times!)……or to get together and feel “shaba” goosebumps and to get hyped up with a great personality driven service..but our mandate was to OPEN WIDE THE EASTERN GATE…THAT THE KING OF GLORY MAY COME IN!! Its the dream of God and the inheritance of a generation.

In this beautiful continent in the southern hemisphere…there is a movement bubbling up - a tribe passionately pursuing the ONE THING and wasting themselves on HIM. Many Christian trends and moves from this island have spread far and wide…and greatly impacted the globe. While we are thankful for those…we are NOT content and want MORE!! There is a call on the bride to push the envelope and birth something that has never been seen or experienced in this land before for the world to see. It is completely grassroots, messy, underground, nameless and faceless and completely tribal.

THEY CAME.

And so they came from all across Queensland, New South Whales, and beyond to ignite the flame of love on the most easterly point of the continent. The “gathering of the wanderers” took place - like the one in the cave with King David. Even the New Agers know this place is significant as they have planted themselves and their ways in the town of Byron Bay in the searc for authenticity and creativity. Masses of young people flock to this gorgeous strip of paradise every year (1.75 million to be exact) for beaches, clubs, weed, community, and the Spirit. This place draws backpackers and seekers from all continents, people groups, backgrounds, and races. It was created for such a time as this to BURN BRIGHT for the world to see!!

IN SYNC.

There was electricity in the air and favor on the city as we pressed in and lit the altar. The Aussies stayed all night long as the Spirit taught us how to contend, rest, soak, war, and BLAZE on behalf of the nation. God weaved the themes of each session together to create a beautiful tapestry of glory. It was a progression and a procession into the deepest chambers of the King - the place where intimacy is cultivated and released. Simply put - It just FLOWED baby! It was like the Holy Spirit turned the faucet on high from the beginning. The beautiful thing about the loose “format” of the BURN is the ability to give God the SPACE He so desires to do what He wants to do. Its foolish to attempt to build the Tabernacle of David or a “place” of rest for the Lord with the ways of men and structure it to death. It simply doesn’t work. It becomes a routine and a chore where we rarely experience the cairos moments we are seeking. But if we can give God room to show us the desires of HIS heart…as the popular BURNOLOGY phrase goes, “we progress from striving and playing our instrument to the instrument that is being played.” That is when our heart beats in sync the heart of the Father.

UNTIL HE RETURNS.

The Aussie tribe is now consumed with this Psalm 132 mandate. We got one shot at this deal in our lifetime. To pull down all the prophecies, dreams, and promises from Heaven and see them become reality in Australia before we reach our home. This is it. Our bet is on the PRESENCE. I have just spent time and made covenant with some of the best friends of my life! Even though a GINORMOUS ocean separates us…our frames were linked together for this very thing since the beginning of time. We are a tribe that operates out of relationship rather than function. The future is bright and we are going there together. The FLAME has been lit in Byron Bay, Australia and will continue until He returns again one day. Soon the fire will spread throughout the nation and consume the hearts of God’s people. A word came forth in the final hours of the BURNING from John 12:3-5 and was Gods illustration of what went down this weekend.

“Then Mary took a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume, she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. ”

May this great continent be filled with the fragrance of worship to captivate the nations!! May it rise from Byron Bay to Sydney to Darwin to Perth to Asia, Europe, Africa, and the America’s!!! May the sweet smell attract the eyes of the Lord as we create a dwelling place for generations to come!!

We’re just a bunch of foolish people who are so stupid that we actually believe that if we praise the name of God he will drawn men unto him. We are so dumb that we actually believe what the bible says. We are so far gone that we are so sure that sitting in an empty room at 3 am screaming “Reign! Reign! You Reign O Lord” is the best use of our times. We actually think that if we wait upon the Lord that he will come and act on our behalf. So we wait and we waste our lives before the throne, at the feet of our king because we have nothing else to live for. We have tasted the fruits of this world and it has done nothing but brought us death and has left us unsatisfied; where else can we turn but to Him who has life? We sit and wait and with every strum, and with every strike of the key, we become more and more expectant as we say “Come! Come! Come!” With every minute that passes we begin to believe even more that Christ will come and he will reign upon the earth!

Let’s take over the world . . . let’s sit in a room, on a street corner, in a slum, in the dark and broken places and take the land back for our King by waiting and declaring “God. Father. You are great. All Powerful. Majestic. Holy. Worthy. You are the Name above all Names. Praise you Father. Praise you Jesus. Come Holy Spirit. There is none like you.”  And we will wait and we will win. Only a fools believe that…

Even from the darkest prison cells we will still be taking the land. If they they spill our blood and take our lives our blood will cry out from the ground to the Lord and He will come and take the land. We are invincible for our life is now in Him. Who can be against us and stand? Who?

I will waste my life. I will wait.

A voice and a new joy l Byron Bay, Australia02.16.08On the heels of one of the most historic moves of the Australian government to date…we BURNED hot and bright last night. It almost seems at times as if God is moving and aligning the history of the world around our little worship and prayer times. It has begun to change from a nice little theory we talk and dream about to actual reality. He is shifting heaven and earth in response to our midnight cries. I am convinced of this now more than ever.

I am in love with this little town here in Byron Bay, Australia. Not only is it absolutely gorgeous and summer here…but this town is jammed full of young people! It is a hippie and backpackers paradise with great coffee, lots of weed, sunshine, and nice waves. Thats the combo this generation of seekers is looking for in the world! We are planted right in the middle of this town and God has ruined our hearts for this land and these people. As I shared last night and bombed this PS. 132 mandate on a generation…there are two verses that have been blazing in my mind that I cannot shake. I’ve been praying them, speaking them, and meditating on them daily. Even as I read this verse last night…people everywhere just began to cheer and clap and yell like it was their new Aussie mantra or something!

Isaiah 56:7 - “These I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer.”

I saw a hippies, backpackers, seekers, and young kids everywhere in a dream walking in off the street to the House of Prayer in Byron Bay and getting blasted with the glory bomb and His Presence!! They were filled with a new JOY that completely broke away their addictions, perversions, and insecurities. This joy catalyzed them to live a righteous life and “shine like the stars.”

But the Joy was ONLY released from the holy mountain in the house of prayer. It was not another great worship album coming from Australia or big ministry hype…it was weak, humble, and an authentic cry to Abba in the midnight hours that won over His heart.

So far on this trip… the number 333 has haunted me… I see it everywhere and everyday. I see it in clocks, planes, airports…everywhere and anywhere. Finally, after I woke up in the middle of the night a few nights ago and the clock was blinking 333 yet again. I decided I better look into this deal. Its funny how God is so persistent in His messages… He really does “chase” us down!! At first I thought it was Jeremiah 33:3…which would have been great and even applicable in this time…but that didn’t jive with my spirit…so I cracked open to Psalm 33:3 and there it was:

Psalm 33:3 - “Sing to Him a NEW SONG: play skillfully and shout for joy”

Our worship times have been nothing short of massive explosions of Gods Presence…almost every session God drops another bomb on us and leaves us all on the floor, laughing or crying, dancing or prostrate! Its been some of the freshest stuff I’ve experienced in some time.

Their is a mindset SHIFT taking place in this nation and city to rise up and release something NEW and FRESH that will captivate the world. There are so many creative people in this region trapped by fear, doubt and insecurity and it keeps them from releasing that NEW sound the nations are longing to hear!! There is a heavy mantle on this place for creative release. You see it everywhere in the way people dress, talk, the art they create and so on. Its here…but its misguided at the moment. We are contending and BURNING in Byron for a prophetic release of Heavens sounds in this town to change the earth. Its a beautiful collision that leaves no man unchanged.

So back to the Historic government move I mentioned earlier…well this is HUGE! There is a group of people they call the STOLEN GENERATION. Between the early 1900’s and 1970…a decision was made by the Australian government that greatly affected the first nations and Aborigine people. They passed a law whereby every child born to an Aborigine was taken away and given to a white family or put in an orphanage for adoption. Millions of children were taken from their parents within that time. This was a massive event that has forever impacted the Aborigine people and created a giant rift in the nation as their own children were STOLEN from them because of fear that they did not know how to best take care of them. These people were not given a voice in their time.

The government has long slid this under the carpet, denied it happened, and never took any ownership for the atrocity. The new head of government is a believer that miraculously won the seat in the election and taking care of this issue was very high on His agenda.

Two days ago he called for NATIONAL REPENTANCE DAY across the entire nation as delegates and government officials weeped for their fathers father mistake and ask forgiveness on behalf of a nation. They admitted their huge wrong and urged the Aborigine leaders to forgive them and release grace on the new government and nation in this hour.

SOMETHING SHIFTED ACROSS THE NATOIN THAT DAY. IT WAS A DAY IN HISTORY THAT WILL BE REMEMBER FOREVER. A YOKE BROKE AND A GRACE RELEASED. A “STOLEN GENERATION” WAS GIVEN A VOICE AND SOUND AGAIN.

This is only the beginning of what God has in store for this nation filled with destiny and promise.

Release it Lord as we BURN before you in day and night worship and pray. Turn your gaze on this place again and look down with favor and love.

I’m in gorgeous hippie town of Byron Bay!! This is one of those hidden glory places that you want to live out your life!! Its absolutely gorgeous!! I’ve never seen so many young and college age people!! Its crazy!!! They are EVERYWHERE!!

Staring out over the glorious thick smog that covers LA on our rapid descent…I am pretty tired and weak after a wild and intense 45 days to start the new year. I heard one guy preach last year about how when God pours out His Spirit in the “latter day” movement and revival is unleashed…the people of God are going to have to be in the best physical shape of their lives to keep charging ahead. That truth is hitting home for me right now.

But at the present moment of exhaustion… I feel an expectation and exhilaration rising so fast in my spirit about this two week journey that is causing my heart to race at ridiculous speeds inside my chest. Simply put - I feel God all over this. Its the craziest and strangest feeling because my heart BURNS for the hardest, darkest, and hopeless places on earth (Asia, Africa, Middle East, etc)…and not to say that Australia and New Zealand aren’t dark and hard in their own way…but I never pictured myself having a heavy burden for such a modernized region of the world. I’ve been reading lately about the massive exploding global hippie movement on the “Gold Coast” (the most eastern tip of Australia). There have been massive prophetic words about this region being the key for Continental Reformation. This is the first stop we’ll be BURNING, Training, imparting and releasing artists at. Our mandate is to unleash PRESENCE hippie freaks to BURN and cry out to Heaven - “OPEN UP THE EASTERN GATE TO THE NATION” (EZ 43:4)!!!

Every time I pray this..I keep getting crazy pictures of Lonny Frisbee baptizing thousands of hippies in the pacific ocean during the Jesus Movement and them falling out under the power of the Holy Ghost. It really happened then…I’m dreaming it could happen yet again. Maybe God will use this vertical explosion of day and night worship and prayer to shift the stuff we can’t see and release the things we can see. People for generations have been longing for this stuff. So my question is - why not now Lord in this hour and why not with us? We’re foolish and gullible enough to think that you actually will do it.

Australia and New Zealand sit as nations of promise isolated from the rest of the world in the South Asia Pacific. The water even “swirls” the opposite way down there (in toilets, hurricanes, and the in the Spirit glory cloud!!)…i’m kinda looking forward to seeing that honestly. This land has an inheritance and is up for grabs right now for a generation. We long to see this PS. 132 mandate take root in these nations and for a SUSTAINING movement of artists, musicians, and LOVERS contending as “watchmen on the walls” be raised up to BURN BRIGHT until Jesus returns to the earth. Please be in prayer for our time the next two weeks…my wife and I felt so strongly from the beginning that the Lord was in this…and this stirring with the Spirit inside me confirms it.

MAY THE FLAMES OF LOVE RISE HIGH FROM AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND TO ATTRACT THE ATTENTION OF THE WORLD!!!
