Lakeland, FL l 04.30.08I am completely blasted, undone, and tender towards the Lord right now. I don’t know if its because I am just a little emo after being up until 2am in Lakeland with old friends, new friends, burners, and people who actually believe God is willing to come and do all the things we dream of. I am completely physically exhausted on this plane back to Dallas after this quick 16 hour turnaround…but my inner man is built up with so much faith, courage, and hope of all God is doing. I feel like I have new eyes and vision to see impossibilities as perfect opportunities for God to show Himself strong.

The word God gave me earlier this month and that I have blasted on my blogs, burn newsletters, and sung in cities all over America has been “April showers will bring May flowers.” It is happening. Not just in Lakeland , FL…but in cities all over the world…reports are pouring in now that prove God is raining down His presence in unprecedented levels in history. Its no longer theory…but REALITY!!! Its happening with some of our burners in Cincinnati, OH and even in Charlotte at Morningstar where youth in the high school are leading the way. They cried out to God during school one day are leading thousands every single night into deep encounters with the Presence of God manifested through signs, wonders, salvations, healings, and more!!

I released this word God gave me and sang it over the missionaries at the YWAM Kona base last week and shared it again with the top leaders flying in from all over the globe (over 20 nations last night!!) to GET SOME of this Outpouring…I believe this reveals what God is doing.

Zechariah 10:1

Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime;
it is the LORD who makes the storm clouds
He gives showers of rain to men,
and plans of the field to everyone.

Guess what…..IT IS SPRINGTIME!!!!! It is THE LORD who makes the storm clouds!!! AND he is pouring them out!!! Not just in Florida…but ALL OVER THE WORLD!!

Last night…as The Presence began to invade and fill the 8,000 seat hockey stadium we were in (they are moving it to a bigger outdoor stadium this friday!)…God was simply in the room. He was translating beyond “styles” of worship or personalities of preaching…but it was just His RAW power and glory in our midst.

I began to ask the Lord…what is happening Lord and why is it happening here? The Lord told me to come away with Him to the very farthest back seat in the stadium and that He wanted to show me something. So I left in the middle of the some of the incredible healings I’ve ever witnessed in my life…blind people since birth beginning to see…paralyzed people getting up out of their wheelchairs they’ve been in for over 20 years..tumors and lumps dissapearing…and the craziest things you can imagine!!

As I climbed to the very last seat in the back row and sat down…the Lord began to speak two things to me that I wanted to share with you about what He is doing. He told me very clearly…”Sean…look at my people.” I began to look around and He would highlight people’s faces in the crowd that were desperate and crying out…a few of them I will mention. Two young girls…maybe around 11 years old with their hands stretched to the sky and singing at the top of their lungs..you could see raw passion and abandonment in their worship and it was captivating. One elderly couple who still had their plane tickets in their back pocket from just arriving in town…they were hugging each other and weeping together on the ground and I could see God’s healing power was flowing over their weary hearts. A twenty-something sprawled out on his face and shaking under the heavy power of God. Then a frail older man got on stage and was pushing a large oxygen cart with tubes connected to his nose. He shared that he had terminal cancer with 22 tumors eating away his body. They prayed for Him last night and he was back again tonight. When he was asked the question why he came back…the man spoke up with all his might “I will come back every night until I am healed and WILL NOT BE DENIED.”
Upon hearing this and seeing all the other people mentioned above…I broke open and began to weep. It was uncontrollable.

The Lord spoke to me in the moment and said “Look at my people…they are hungry. I am here because they are hungry.”

I then realized that there was nothing special about the building. the people leading this, the worship, the city of Lakeland (which is off the beaten path)…but that God was showing up night after night, healing after healing, salvation after salvation because of one thing - HUNGER!!! People were flying in from ALL over the world just to get one drink!! They were staying up until 2am like me with a 5am departure time!! They were anticipating something great and weren’t going to stop until they got the breakthrough they came for!!

THIS IS A PICTURE OF THE STATE OF THE WORLD RIGHT NOW. THEY ARE DISILLUSIONED, CONFUSED, FRUSTRATED, OVER RELIGION….BUT HUNGRY FOR A REAL ENCOUNTER!!
The Lord began to teach me how Heaven will ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS meet hunger! The bigger our hunger, resolve, and fight to see God show up grows…the more Faith we have to see Him as He really is.

I was blown away to think that - HEY…THIS COULD HAPPEN ANYWHERE PEOPLE ARE HUNGRY!!
The Lord responded by simply saying “Yes, it can. Yes, it will.”

The second thing the Lord began to show me was how much our day and night grassroots BURNING is is paving the way for this. He showed me that if we STAY CONSISTENT…He will do this anywhere and everywhere we keep the flame lit and give him room to take over!! It is travesty to build a slick and neat “24-7 program” of events in our cities with the whole focus of getting God around through night and day prayer and worship…and then when He shows up..we don’t give Him room to TAKE OVER and are stuck on models and formulas!! One of the things I love about this Florida Outpouring is that its SO MESSY and NOT POLISHED!! Its just raw, organic, authentic power of God!

WE ARE BURNING SO HE CAN COME IN AND TAKE OVER AT THE BLINK OF AN EYE!!

I want to end by encouraging all of you BURNING night and day in your cities…

1) WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS NOT IN VAIN! Outpourings in Florida and around the world are a direct result of your BURNING. Night and Day Vertical worship will bring these SHOWERS!!

2) STAY CONSISTENT AND DONT LET UP! Don’t slack down on the hours you are BURNING…but stay consistent and on task…and HE IS LONGING TO VISIT LIKE THIS!!

3) BE HUNGRY!! BE HUNGRY!! BE HUNGRY!! STAY HUNGRY!! Don’t ever get comfortable…but stay wasted, broken, and unsatisfied and WATCH how Heaven will meet you.

4) DREAM BIGGER AND ANTICIPATE MORE!! God loves BIG dreamers and sons and daughters with MASSIVE expectations…because it reveals how BIG we think God is in our lives and what He can do.

THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING!! I BELIEVE WITH BOB JONES THAT THIS 3RD WAVE GOD IS RELEASING WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE EARTH!!! DO IT LORD!!

DO IT IN OUR HOMES, CITIES, NATOINS AND WORLD!! WE NEED IT NOW MORE THAN EVER!!

“the dream for a generation”

I am so incredibly encouraged and totally blown out by the Presence of God right now. I’ve felt that the last few days have been a mere glimpse into the dream of God for a generation. Its almost like my life has come full circle in so many ways and I question if its truly my life playing out or I’m caught in some weird trance. I am totally wasted and have no clue what time zone I’m even in any more (that definitely plays into the “trance” idea!!) but know that I am right where I need to be in this season.

I’ve been venting to the Lord the past few days that my life is hectic and things are out of control. I’ve explained of how quickly this BURNING tribe has expanded all over the world…how overwhelming it is currently to just keep up with all the relationships, cities, trips, missions, music, accounting, and the other million things that run through my mind when my head hits the pillow at night. I told God “The fire is out of control!! Its chaotic!! Its uncontrollable!! Its a mess!! Its crazy!! I feel like I have no control or grip on anything!!” He then spoke the most powerful words to me that are have shifted my entire thinking the past few days. He simply said “I know…I like it that way!”

I was overcome with so much emotion and yet a sense of relief that its no ones job to “manage” or keep things “under control”…but to let the fire spread violently and swiftly all over the earth!

So let me move back a few weeks now to when I was in Tyler, TX at an incredible weekend conference of fire with Bob Jones, Bobby Conner,  Brad McClendon, and lots of the blazing BURN crew. I got a word in a dream that I needed to visit the gravesite of Keith Green. So I thought it would be good to see if this was a “bad pizza” dream or really a God dream. I asked the crazy accurate prophet Bob Jones what he thought and he said “You need to go visit there…God has something for you.” So on our way out of town…a bunch of us drove out to the country cemetery where Keith and his two kids were buried. I was surprised to find out that Keith was only 28 years old when he went to be with Jesus!! WOW!! How much God did through him in those years! His legacy lives on as stories of his life still impact millions today! I also was blown away to see that another great hero of mine and revivalist Leonard Ravenhill was buried right next to him. I felt the Spirit speak to me and say “Just ask.” I responded back saying “ask what?” I heard the Spirit say again “Just ask.”

So..standing over the lifeless graves that Sunday morning…I prayed “God, any of your dreams in these two great men that were not accomplished in their lifetime…I WANT THEM on behalf of an entire generation!” I could totally feel the Presence of God in the moment and actually believe something shifted in my heart.

Fast forward to three days ago when I arrived in Kona, Hawaii on the largest YWAM base in the world. This place has a very tangible OPEN HEAVEN over it. I was completely blasted by God here when I was 13 years old with my family and was laid out in the spirit and speaking in tongues and prophecying. The last time I was here walking on the beach…the Lord told me audibly that it was time to ask my wife to marry me. So..I have an inheritance here and KNOW this place is in my future. I’m speaking with Darlene Cunningham (founder with her husband Loren of the mission - largest Christian organization in the world) explaining the heart, vision and reason for BURN 24-7 and how I see God a covenant relationship is being birthed with YWAM to see this collision of the missions and prayer movement walked out. I suddenly remembered that I heard something about Keith Green meeting with her and her husband before he died to dream together. So in the middle of our conversation…I asked them what they met about and what happened that day.

She began to tell me that they met with Keith and Melody a few days before his death. They stayed up praying, dreaming, and talking about how this radical call of prayer and worship that Keith carried was made to clash with the missions movement the Cunningham’s birthed to see RADICAL FIRE unleashed on the nations. Their strategic plan was interrupted just a few days later with Keith’s untimely death and a dream was laid dormant…until now.

I was totally undone when I heard these words and realized that  I HAD ASKED GOD FOR THE DREAM A FEW WEEKS EARLIER AT THE GRAVESITE!! I began to see how this dream has been Gods since before the foundations of the world and its been carried by many people. We are humbly walking into the greatest hour in humantiy while the eyes of the world and history are upon us. Jesus longed for it when he released the call in Mark 16:15-20 before He was taken up to Heaven to the right hand of God.

He dreamed that we would take this radical BURNING PRESENCE of God out of our prayer rooms and into the darkest parts of the world.

I had the incredibly and humbling opportunity to share with the YWAM leadership in Kona and then again to the Campus wide meeting on thursday to a massive crew of ravenous missionaries from over 45 nations around the globe about this very thing!! I poured my heart out about why NOW IS THE TIME to see “the Word become flesh and dwell among us” (John 1:14). So many people are talking about this beautiful marriage of prayer and missions…but WE ARE RESPONSIBLE for walking it out and seeing it become FLESH!  Its happening in our BURN cities around the globe and I shared incredible testimonies from our directors and what God is doing with their communities around the world!!

This is our only hope to see the great end time harvest unleashed!!!  I firmly believe that…

Unless the missions movement becomes centered on the fiery Presence of God and we take “these signs” of Mark 16 with us…it will quickly die. Unless the prayer movement begins to spill out of the prayer room and invade, infect, and shift culture in our cities, regions, and nations….it too will quickly die.

These were NEVER created to be separate and the time is coming where they are joined together again to see ACTS 15:16-17 come to pass.

I WILL REBUILD THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID WHICH HAS FALLEN,
AND I WILL REBUILD ITS RUINS,
AND I WILL RESTORE IT,
SO THAT THE REST OF MANKIND MAY SEEK THE LORD”

That is the true purpose of it all!!! WE ARE FINALLY REALIZING IT!

So on thursday night…Gods presence DROPPED LIKE A BOMB in Kona, Hawaii…and we experienced the TRUE BURNING…God got us all HOT, SMELLING GOOD, and FULL OF THE PRESENCE!!

People were completely overcome and overwhelmed with the glory and goodness of God…some were stuck to the pavement…others were laughing…crying…and soaking it all in…It was an incredibly amazing time with God.

So much is in store…I could keep going…but the most exciting stuff of our lifetime is headed our way. We are “fleshing out” this covenant relationship between YWAM and BURN 24-7 and are committed to walk together forever to see this happen!! Incredible dreams, words of knowledge, and desperation is birthing something huge between us…my time is Kona was simply one massive prophetic word from start to finish.

EXCITING STUFF IS COMING OUR WAY IN JANUARY 2009 REGARDING THIS!!! YOU’LL HEAR MORE SOON!

Welcome to the Burn 24-7 April Newsletter!!

The purpose of this email is to fill you in on all the latest and greatest stuff God is doing with this exploding and burning movement across the globe!!

I am writing this from the beautiful city of Amsterdam in The Netherlands. We have been on our faces with global leaders praying, worshipping, and strategizing for how this BURNING movement is going to spill out of the prayer room and completely turn the world upside down. We are dreaming of communities, culture, and nations being shifted by cultivating these “resting places” for God’s Presence. We are not going to just stop there though! The global prayer movement cannot miss the entire point of why we are burning night and day. Its for far more than goosebumps, our selfish needs, or to just say we are going 24/7. We are contending and believing for the marriage of the prayer and missions movement to fulfill the Acts 15:17 purpose of it all. The tabernacle of David is to be rebuilt so that ” the rest of humanity may seek the Lord!” Its all about the lost!! We are believing that God’s presence will be poured out like never before in April to bring forth a harvest of fruit in May that the world has never seen!! When we look at the Tabernacle of David in ancient times, we see an amazing prophetic picture of what the Lord is raising again in the earth today to prepare the way for His return. Thousands of musicians, worshippers, and Levites were involved in this move that sustained an open heaven on Mt. Zion where they hosted the Ark of the Covenant for 33 years.

But this glorious move didn’t start there. It began much earlier, and much smaller. It began in days when the Ark of the Covenant (symbolizing the Presence of the Lord Jesus Christ with us by the power of the Holy Spirit) was forgotten. It started with a young man, a boy that was insignificant to his family and completely unknown in Israel.

God led His prophet Samuel to a town where he was to anoint the next king of Israel.

I Samuel 16:4-10 (NKJV)
4 So Samuel did what the LORD said, and went to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, “Do you come peaceably?”
5 And he said, “Peaceably; I have come to sacrifice to the LORD. Sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice.”
Then he consecrated Jesse and his sons, and invited them to the sacrifice.
6 So it was, when they came, that he looked at Eliab and said, “Surely the LORD’s anointed is before Him!”
7 But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”
10 Thus Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, “The LORD has not chosen these.”

David was the 8th son of Jesse. 8 is the number of new beginnings, and 2008 is a season of new beginnings. But we need to understand an important reality: everything in the Kingdom starts small. Everything. New beginnings, and new moves of God can start so small that we can overlook them, unless we have eyes to see.

I Samuel 16:11 (MSG) Then he asked Jesse, “Is this it? Are there no more sons?” “Well, yes, there’s the runt. But he’s out tending the sheep.”

David’s referred to as a “runt”, the smallest of the litter, seen as the least significant member of his family. His Father didn’t call him to the sacrifice when Samuel clearly said, “invite your sons”. He was the kid brother, the one born in Jesse’s old age.

“Surely the Lord’s anointed is before him!”
The first king of Israel, Saul, was “head and shoulders” above everyone else. He could have been a model, and he was the ideal king because he looked like a king. This was Samuel’s orientation, and it was everyone else’s too. Where is the next kingly looking guy? But God doesn’t work this way. He sees the outward appearance, but it’s not His focus.

That’s why David was so easily overlooked. When God was doing a new thing, everyone was looking for a repeat of an old thing. They were looking for someone that looked just like Saul. In this season of new beginnings, be careful not to dismiss what God is doing because it’s small. The Father has a completely different way of looking at things, and His view is the only one that ultimately matters.

People love underdog stories. But this isn’t a typical underdog story. God didn’t pick David because he was the youngest, or the weakest, or the least significant, and then make him king to prove a point.  He made him king because of what he saw in David’s heart. In our image-driven world this message is more relevant than ever.

God Looks on the Heart
II Chron. 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.

God obviously prioritizes the inward above the outward. While people are busy trying to impress each other, He is searching for those who will search for Him. As God’s eyes were searching over Israel looking for those who HEARTS were toward Him, and committed to Him, His eyes landed in Bethlehem, on one of the great grandsons of Ruth and Boaz.

If there had been a spiritual “thermal” map of the world, Bethlehem was glowing red. But this spiritual fire wasn’t necessarily at the center of town, or at the gate of the elders. It was in the outskirts, in the wide-open wilderness places around Bethlehem, where a young man, probably 12 or 13 years old, was camped out for days at a time taking care of sheep.

David seemed easy to lose track of. He was out of sight, out of mind, even to his family at times. Such was the life of a shepherd: lonely, forgotten. Yet, the eyes of the Lord were fixed on David. He was not forgotten or alone. God Himself drew near to David in the hills of Judea.

In those times, Samuel’s school of the prophets had taken up the arts, worshipping God on instruments, praying and prophesying with song. No doubt, Israel knew of this guild  of prophetic intercessors, musicians, and worshippers. Perhaps they influenced David. He decided to take up the harp, and he found that when he worshipped with music, he would enter into indescribable fellowship with his Maker. Songs began to come, as he poured out his love in response to God’s Presence. These times were more than creative; they were inspired.

Though David was off of everyone’s radar, he was on God’s mind and had the attention of heaven. I believe when he sought after the Lord, He started without having any idea of what his destiny was. He just wanted to know who God was. But the fruit of the revelation of God is a revelation of who you are in God and what your destiny is in Him.

New Dreams, New Instincts 
As David communed with the Lord, he began to dream. God’s heart for the Hebrew people became woven into the fabric of David’s heart. David began to dream of a nation living in communion with God, and a nation living in the power of God’s presence. He became detached from the normal limits and expectations that would be put on a young person.  When a lion came against the flock, his natural instinct wasn’t to run. He saved the lamb out of the lion’s mouth, and when the lion shifted its attack to David, he caught it by the mane and killed it.

When you live in the Presence of God, your definition of “normal” gets changed. Your perspective changes. Something of God’s capability and supernatural power are imparted to you, and you became capable of things that are unexpected.

Oblivious to Opinions of Men
It was almost as if David was so secure in the love of God that he was oblivious to the fact that he was looked upon as insignificant, or just plain forgotten by everyone else.

This is the freedom God has also called us to live in! When we try to find security and significance through what we do, we become performance bound and removed from our destiny. When we live out of security in the love of God, we can move into our destiny in Him.

The world says, “when you famous”,  or “when you get a big break”, you’ll be significant.” Your heavenly Father says, “you’re already significant to me. I know who you are, even if nobody else does.”

Saul was so concerned with outer appearance and with pleasing man that he disobeyed God’s clear commands. While Saul was all wrapped up in trying to impress men, David had long given up on trying to impress people. He decided that he would seek God no matter what. He was invisible to the world around him, but David was found as a worshipper seeking His face.

God Will Visit a Region Because of One Person
David was the one person that God sent Samuel to town for, and he was the last person the town thought to invite to the sacrifice.

Sometimes we are tempted to ask ourselves, “What does it matter if I pursue this dream of God? What difference does it make for me to burn in worship at 2AM in the morning by myself? The answer is that God sees, He knows, and His eyes are looking for you and longing for you.

Everyone was at the sacrifice, but no one was worshipping. David, though not initially invited to the sacrifice, was the only one actually worshipping in Bethlehem! God will always “find” worshippers in the earth.

Finally, they brought David to the sacrifice. Everyone was dressed to impress. David looked like he’d been camping in the wilderness, because that’s where he was.  But as he walked in, the Lord said to Samuel, “Arise, anoint Him, for this is he”.

The hidden life of worship that David lived attracted the anointing of God, and eventually transformed a nation and influenced an entire generation. But this moment when Samuel anointed him wasn’t David’s big break. This day was the fruit of something that was already happening. It didn’t begin with man’s recognition. This new beginning started very small.

Be encouraged in this season of new beginnings. The Tabernacle is being raised again in all the earth (Amos 9:11). It may be obscure to men, but this new move is born of God and has all of heaven’s attention!

God is completely invaded my life since you visited Lakeshore Tabernacle.  I have been seeking God to become evident in my life and to change the atmosphere in my truck and to bring an atmosphere of heaven where ever I go.  I started fasting a week before you came and Saturday at the burn preview you said the way to defeat Satan in Warfare is to lift up the name of Jesus…When Jesus becomes High and Exalted in your personal life this is the way to bring an atmosphere of Heaven’s realm and start flowing in the supernatural.  When you spoke that something snapped within me and I have been on a mission ever since then to make Jesus evident in my life.  It is a daily effort and God has been so faithful to answer.  Sunday I talked to you after service and told you I was a truck driver with my husband going from Chicago to Salt Lake City and after telling you some stuff you made the comment, “Wow, you are like a traveling intercessor.”  When you spoke that over my life it was prophetic.  I used to do a miming ministry back in my college days before getting married.  Me and the group of 20 people would intercede 5 days a week for several hours and travail.  I have been praying that God would stir that prayer spirit within me.
Tuesday when I left for Salt Lake City I started driving at 5 PM Eastern and was done 12 hours later.  And then all heaven broke loose.  During my drive through Nebraska it got really foggy to the point where I almost screamed because I could not see.  Then I took control of the situation and thanked God for the fog for watering the  earth and then commanded the fog to lift and disappear so I could see and instantly the fog lifted and I drove fog free the rest of the time.  I was driving through a blizzard with 3 inch flakes hitting my windshield on my way back to Chicago commanded the 50 mph winds to stop and I drove wind free the rest of the 1000 miles home.  I told God that I feel like I am leaving a page out of the bible.  Wednesday morning when I started to sleep I woke up 1.5 hours later in a jolt because the presence of God invaded the truck.  My insides were shaking and all I could do is wail and intercede. I went back to sleep and within 5 hours had another 5 dreams.  This has been happening ever since Tuesday. If I get 2 hours of sleep without waking up shouting in tongues or wailing or praising the name of Jesus I am lucky.  Saturday I was woken up every 5-10 minutes from dreams that I keep having of God, angels, mass grouping of people singing and shouting to Jesus.  I am talking millions of people in one accord shouting, “Freedom, fire, Holy Ghost Power, Lord I receive your dynamite power! Freedom, Fire, Holy Ghost Power, Lord I receive your baptism of Fire!”  I had been praying that the week before you came and now that is all I can hear in my dreams and I wake up a lot of times screaming that on my lips.
Every time I start to be intimate with Jesus and lift my hands in worship no matter where I am at I light up and feel this intense heat, almost like fire from the inside. My hands, my head, my heart, my belly it all just sets on fire.  I have received from God the baptism of Fire and the Fire of God is burning me from the inside out which is what I have been praying for in my life.  Never did I expect to burn like this though.  Also when I start to worship the presence of God comes in I feel like I am holding a ball of fire in my hand…It is that real.  If I place my hand on my heart that is when things get really intense b/c fire and heat shoot through my hand and down my body on the inside.
What I love about this is that the change is happening from the inside out. I embrace the burn and Fire of God.  God spoke to me so clearly and gently when I asked him what is going on. He said, “If my people do not start to embrace the Fire of God and ask to be put through the Fire and burn for me on earth, then I will have no choice when they stand before me on the Day of Judgement and throw them into The Lake of Fire.”  It is time that we embrace the fire of God to purify us and let our flames burn brighter and brighter and show the world our fire.  We cannot in this hour hide our light under a bowl.  If the fire under the bowl gets no oxygen it will die, it will go out.  Instead we must ask God to make us burn for Him like a forest fire that is not able to be stopped.  My whole point in sharing this is, “I AM ON FIRE AND BURNING FOR JESUS! LORD LET MY LIGHT AND FIRE BURN BRIGHTER AND STRONGER!” God is real!  God is answering prayers.  Let’s pray that God not only sets forest fires through us but he keeps us burning like a furnace 24 hours a day on the inside.  “GOD, TEACH US TO BURN FOR YOU AND SHOW US HOW TO SPREAD THE BURN!”

There is some serious movement happening in Scandinavia! He is moving with righteousness across the land to purify His bride and prepare her for this next great wave or outpouring and revival. Its wild because we got this word about “April showers will bring May flowers” before the trip…and God was showing us that an outpouring of His Presence in the world at unprecedented levels in April would bring forth a divine harvest in May!! When we landed in Norway and walked out of the airport…the exact same thing happened to us just like in Amsterdam a week earlier. It began snowing and raining very hard and very fast!! In both cities this is a very rare thing for the middle of April…so I firmly this was not a mere “coincidence”..but rather confirmation to the word God spoke before the trip! Don’t you just love it when stuff like that happens? Its happening more and more in my life and the lives of friends all around me. Why? Because He is LONGING to come and bring a fresh rain to His people!!

Norway is one of those nations I never though of myself ever going to…not because I didn’t like it but its just a country you don’t hear too much about. So when I found myself shortly after we arrived in shivering in downtown Oslo listening to a massive group of believers in the square singing “If God doesn’t build His move in our nation…its builders build in vain” (Ps. 127)..I had to pinch myself!! Now this is just freaky!! I have been studying and meditating on that same exact verse the past few weeks when faced with the challenges of seeing this grassroots move expand to the darkest nations of the world! To hear Norwegian’s singing the same thing and crying out to God with their unique sound just about broke me! GOD IS DOING THIS ALL OVER THE WORLD!! IF YOU DONT GET ANYTHING ELSE FROM THIS BLOG…AT LEAST GET THAT! This citywide gathering was in response to legislation the government is working to pass mandating that school cirriculum teach and accept that gay marriage is normal and no one may challenge it. We were so happy to take part and see the church rising up against this unrighteous legislation and take her stand as the “watchmen on the wall.”

Later that evening we were on a farm an hour outside of town and had an incredible time of worship, prayer, impartation and sharing this BURNING vision for the nation. God was downloading visions and words for the country as well as meeting the peoples physical, spiritual and emotional needs. It was beautiful. We met people from Romania, the UK, and all over the Europe. They are a hungry bunch!! Rachel had this vision of Norway being a solid rock covered with dirt and mud. God began to remove the dirt and chaff to reveal the Rock of Our Salvation the nation was originally founded on. This nation has a rich history and legacy God is revealing in this hour and even national symbol is this massive and fierce looking Lion!

We quickly found out that Norway is in fact the richest or one of the richest nations on earth. To buy a can of coke from the gas station is almost $6 US!! That is insane!! I don’t know how these people live! We had a beautiful time the next day meeting with prayer and worship leaders from all over the country. We shared our hearts together over some fresh Salmon (some of the best i’ve had!) on a mountain top lodge overlooking the city. We quickly discovered that many of these people have longed for a Furnace in their nation since before I was even born!! WOW!! God had been birthing this for some time!! We all agreed that NOW IS THE TIME FOR FULFILLMENT OF THESE DREAMS IN NORWAY.

One of my favorite moments in Norway (besides eating lots of fresh salmon and moose meet) and one of the big reasons we came happened on the night before we flew out. We were taken to visit the home of farmer turned fiery revivalist Hans Nielsen Hauge. You’ve probably never heard of him before and neither did I until I walked into his 1771 home and almost fell on my face because of the glory of God that was STILL in resting in his room! This is not a joke and this dude was the real deal!! He was out working in fields in the late 1700’s and at 25 years old had a divine visitation with Jesus from which He was forever changed. He spent the next three days nonstop in his upper room processing all that God wanted him to do to see revival come to Norway. This guy not only planted hundreds of house of prayers, churches, and walked in signs, wonders and miracles, but God downloaded to him business strategies to revolutionize the economy. He is still considered to be the greatest economic reformer and entrepreneurialism in Norwegian history. Norway today has one of the strongest economies in the world and is tied with Korea as highest sender of missionaries per capita in the world largely due to the life this man. So we laid out prostrate on the floor of his house and received the mantle God gave him on behalf of an entire generation of revivalists, furnace planters, economic reformers, musicians, preachers, and lovers of God!!

This could easily be the most powerful moment on the entire trip! God always saves the best wine for last!!

Burn family across the world..

Be apart of this radical move God is doing in Nepal and India by helping send Sean and Kate in May to ignite the furnace of worship and prayer, conduct evangelism outreach to the unreached areas of the Buddhist and Hindu world, train up pastors, worship leaders, and burners to contend for their land, and provide mercy ministry to the destitute and hopeless.

A massive calling and burden for this trip is to partner with local and indigenous organizations to rescue women and child prostitutes out of the sex trade. This is a widespread epidemic in Nepal and India right now and the body of Christ has to stand up and do something about it! Just like the book of Amos declares “Let Justice Roll!!”
We are longing not only for 24/7 furnaces of God’s Presence to be established…but also for justice and righteousness to reign in those lands.

We are fundraising hard for this and asking for people to sow a seed into these nations to see revival spread like fire across the Himalayan region of the world! We are still in need of $4,000 to help cover the cost of the trip and are also praying for an abundance beyond that to take care of our bills while we are gone for an entire month! We have only 2 weeks left to raise this money and are believing God for a miracle!

Amsterdam, The Netherlands

I’m writing this from the beautiful and destined city of Amsterdam in The Netherlands. We have been on our faces with global leaders praying, worshipping, and strategizing for how this BURNING movement is going to spill out of the prayer room and completely turn the world upside down. We are dreaming of communities, cultures, and nations being shifted by cultivating these “resting places” for God’s Presence!

In the foundation verse of Burn 24-7, Acts 15:16 states: “In the last days I will rebuild again the Tabernacle of David..” But it doesn’t stop there. Thank God it doesn’t stop there!! THE PRAYER MOVEMENT HAS TO GET THIS. But why are we throwing our lives into this deal? Acts 15:17 gives us the answer: “…that the rest of humanity may seek the Lord.” Its about the lost, the hurting, the nations! We are basing these revolutionary prayer and strategy times in the furnace right in the Red Light District - arguably the most disgusting, dirty, vile, demonic place on earth. Just the perfect place God wants to invade and see this mandate lived out! I’ve been telling people before this trip….if this powerful marriage of missions and worship we are all contending for can change the Red Light District…then it can work ANYWHERE!! We are partnering in covenant relationship with top leaders of the largest missions organization in the world (YWAM) to see the true marriage of missions and prayer play out. I’m pushing for our new combined motto to be: “get the blaze…spread the blaze!” Haha!! I love this stuff!! Its the dream of God to see this marriage be fulfilled!

I have many more incredible stuff to share…but I wanted to close with some prophetic revelation we’ve been getting through dreams, visions, and downloads from Heaven (its been flowing out here!!):

Last night, three burn directors including myself had the same dream and vision. The canals of this great city were completely overflowing and overtaking the streets, sidewalks, and bridges. It was a mighty flowing river throughout the Amsterdam…all the red lights had turned to green lights and the Lord said “Go, Go, Go!!” We’ve been experiencing some of the sweetest times of worship, soaking, fellowship, and prayer and God is releasing His Presence in a fresh way here! Amsterdam is the most culturally diverse city in the entire world and boasts over 180 nations in its borders. This city has an “Antioch” anointing to be a base of firebrands for Europe, Africa and into Asia! God has been revealing a very blueprint for this beautiful partnership of BURN 24-7 and YWAM to raise up radical disciples to plant “resting places” all over globe! These are exciting times we are living in and there is much more to come on this very soon!!
