I believe God is saying to us in this volatile hour the sole leadership of America does not belong to those SPEAKING from the political arena!! God has given US the scepter of rulership! True leadership belongs to those who will release the high praise of GOD!! We possess the ability to “rule the air”.
TEACHING OF THE MONTH

I hardly have the words to express all God did in the past week in Hawaii. It’s been a complete spirit BOMB and full on release on levels I’ve rarely seen before during a concentrated week of ministry. We truly went on a journey that went from “glory to glory! (1 Cor 3).
I had the honor and privilege of bringing some of my best friends (four young and fiery revivalist burners) with me to up light up the largest YWAM base in the world (University of the Nations in Kona, HI) for a corporate week gathering 6 individual schools (DTS) together for teaching, impartation, and fresh fire of His presence moving in our day. Our crew was made up of David Fritch (BURN 24-7) from Oklahoma, Jamie Dickinson (MHOP) from Maine, Roger Joyner (JHOP and THE CALL) from San Francisco, Joel Khouri (MorningStar) from Charlotte and myself. Each person in our squad carried a different message and facet of what “Restoring the Tabernacle of David” (Amos 9:11 – Acts 15:16) really looks like according to the Biblical framework established by King David and strong historical evidence revealed in the Moravians, Celts, and those who embarked on this same journey of cultural reformation in generations past.

Healing Explosion at Australia’s Biggest New Age Festival
Twice a year, in May and November, thousands of people from Sydney stream through a big New Age Festival in search of something spiritual that will bring inner peace, power and healing into their lives. The Festival has hundreds of booths promoting all kinds of New Age teachings and spiritual healing modalities. People are invited to have some kind of spiritual encounter with psychics, healers and New Age practitioners.
Our outreach to this event was a joint effort of four churches, three from Sydney and one from Byron Bay. Our team of approximately 45 people did about 120 hours of ministry in total and they did an extraordinary job of releasing healing and the prophetic into hundreds of people’s lives. It was our 8th outreach to these events and it represented a season of new beginnings. As a sign of increasing favour with the Festival organisers we were given a major upgrade a couple of days before the commencement of the event. They contacted us to tell us they were giving us a significantly bigger booth at no extra charge, right in front of the ‘Psychic Room’ where dozens of Australia’s most renowned psychics do their thing for an exorbitant fee!

Prophetic Insight on the ElectionsProphetic Insight on the Elections

I turned to Genesis 49 to read about Jacob’s prophetic declaration over the tribe of Judah. There I discovered another pillar scripture for our BURNING tribe of praisers. After naming Judah as the one who will be praised, the next proclamation gripped my heart and I knew God was revealing the way to overcome in the midst of the enemy! “Judah, your hand shall be upon the neck of your enemies”. After this, immediately the scripture Psalm 110 came to my spirit. It speaks of young people rising up and how God’s people will offer themselves willingly in the day of power. Verse 2 is key because it speaks of the Lord ruling in the midst of His enemies!!
I believe God is breathing fresh on the mandate of our BURNING tribe across the land! And this mandate of vertical worship may be the only thing that can pull our nation out of the pit. We are to release the sound of praise like never before!! God has given us a key to changing atmospheres, regions and cities in the form of un-interrupted heartfelt worship to HIM!! Our unique “voice” or “sound” must be heard in this hour!! There are many prayer movements all over the globe and God has heard our many petitions and requests, but it is time to rise and make music to the Maker of heaven and earth!! The focus must now be on our songs to the LORD. It is truly time to sing aloud the praises of our God and proclaim WHO HE IS over our nation. This is true rulership!! Through our praises, we are giving Him a place to rule on the earth. God rules where He is worshiped!!
So may the BURNING tribe of singers and makers of music arise and take their place for the eyes of the Lord are upon them!

The Festival has hundreds of booths promoting all kinds of New Age teachings and spiritual healing modalities. People are invited to have some kind of spiritual encounter with psychics, healers and New Age practitioners.

Our team of approximately 45 people did about 120 hours of ministry in total and they did an extraordinary job of releasing healing and the prophetic into hundreds of people’s lives. In the two previous Festivals this year we have seen approximately 300 healings but God had given us a prophetic promise that each Festival would go from one degree of glory to another. We were full of confident expectation but we were not prepared for what happened this November! Our figures are not exact because there was such an explosion of signs and wonders that it was impossible to keep up with the outbreak of revival fire, but we conservatively believe that this festival saw between 250 and 300 awesome miracles! For four consecutive days the supernatural became commonplace in our booth!
Our booth was a constant hive of activity with spiritually hungry people streaming through continuously. The vast majority of people who responded to our sign offering ‘Supernatural Healing’ received instant healing. It was the rare exception for someone to leave the booth without being healed. For four whole days our team saw the supernatural released over and over again with an uncanny predictability. We had three teams working continuously in our booth but often we were not able to keep up with the demand. It was not uncommon to see people receiving healing right where they stood. Our booth was filled with the glory of the Lord and our team were glowing with the bliss of continuously witnessing the supernatural ministry of Christ.
We had dozens of people give their lives to Christ right there in the booth as they were touched by the supernatural power of God. Most of the healings were instant and involved some kind of pain or injury to the body. So many people left our booth in a state of astonishment because there was concrete evidence of the raw power of God to heal. One moment they had pain or some kind of bodily dysfunction; the next moment the pain was gone or the affected part of the body was completely healed!
One of the most exciting aspects of this healing explosion was the ministry that occurred from the main stage. Ever since the second outreach to these events in November 2006 we have had a specialised ministry team working on the main performance stage. At first the Festival organisers gave us a 30 minute slot which is the standard time allocated to all ‘performers.’ But the last few events we have been given a one and a half hour slot each day which is completely unprecedented. The favour just keeps on increasing! Last May our booth won the ‘Best Booth’ award and the Festival organisers are begging us to take our team to the Melbourne Festival as well!
When we minister from the main stage our team of musicians play some anointed music that releases the atmosphere of the glory of God over the entire festival. The presence of the glory intensifies and then we release a ministry team who speak out words of knowledge over the audience. Sometimes I speak on quantum physics and the supernatural. The thing that struck us this time we ministered was the instant release of public miracles. As soon as we released the word concerning a particular injury or medical condition, healing was released right in front of the crowd as we pronounced healing in the name of Christ. Back injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulders, ankle injuries, deafness, eyesight problems: all were instantly healed prompting the audience to spontaneously applause!
The outpouring of the supernatural was so great that hundreds of people were astonished. In fact, ‘astonishment’ became the key word that summarised the entire event. Whenever Jesus showed up to minister, the Scriptures tell us that people were astonished or that they marvelled at His healing power. “They were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.” (Mark 7:37)
In our intercessory prayer times throughout the outreach we just kept on praying for an increase of astonishment. Our entire team was completely astonished at the frequency and the significance of the healings but the people who received the healings were even more astonished. It seems like God is restoring the gift of astonishment and wonder to the church.
The other feature of this 8th outreach was the increased accuracy of the prophetic words. Along with the massive spike in supernatural activity there was a spike in the display of the word of knowledge gift. Apart from accurately identifying the presence of unusual medical conditions there were words about specific accidents such as ‘falling off a ladder in an industrial accident two years ago,’ ‘pulling a back muscle sweeping the house two days ago,’ etc. God gave our team the names of people present. One team member called out a woman from the stage and told her she has just spent too much money that week at the optometrist. Moments later her eyesight was healed and she could read fine print without her glasses. We later found out that she had spent $1000 on her eyes that week.
Another team member went up to a woman in a red dress and said, ‘Your name is Marion’ and then he completely read her mail. She was initially quite hard but the accuracy of the words softened her heart. We would wait on the Lord before going into the Festival and God would give us people’s names and their medical condition and then we had the joy of matching up the names of the people who came into the booth with the medical problems that the Lord had revealed us. This transformed the event into a ‘treasure hunt’ which is undoubtedly the highest form of Christian entertainment.
Another highlight of the outreach was seeing some people completely overhauled physically and spiritually. One woman at the main stage felt and watched her own leg grow 12 millimetres as one of our team commanded her leg to grow. She also had her frozen shoulder completely healed in front of the crowd and her sciatic nerve healed on her right thigh. She was astonished! Many people received multiple healings in their body!
But perhaps the greatest highlight of the outreach was releasing the fire tunnel on the third afternoon on the main stage. Many people had just been publicly healed but I was aware of many others who were disappointed because their medical condition was not called out. So I announced that we would do a fire tunnel at the front of the main stage so that anyone seeking healing could be healed. We were not prepared for what happened. Approximately 40 people formed a line which took almost an hour to process everybody.
Dozens were healed as they passed through the tunnel and some were set on fire with intense heat. Others became drunk as the Spirit fell upon them and they staggered through the tunnel getting blasted with joy. This had to be God because we didn’t tell anyone that the Spirit could make them drunk! The Festival organisers were getting a little bit edgy because we went 30 minutes past the time for everyone to leave the Festival. One organiser observed that no one wanted to leave the Festival because of the atmosphere that we released over the place. I told her that dozens of people were being healed and she told me how much the organisers love our healing stories.
We stepped out by taking the outreach to the next level and it paid off big time. God can’t stay away when His people step out in radical boldness. He is powerfully attracted to kingdom risk-takers and those who embrace the call to live the ultimate adventure of heaven invading earth. We can’t wait for the next opportunity to invade a New Age Festival with signs and wonders and demonstrations that we are genuinely connected to the Spirit. God is making us the head and not the tail because it’s all about displaying that we are truly connected. The best psychics in Australia publicly demonstrate from the main stage that they are connected to their source of occult knowledge and sometimes they totally nail it by revealing pieces of accurate information about someone; including information about their particular illness. But God upstages the most connected psychics by displaying that His sons and daughters are so connected that they can reveal the medical condition and heal it as well. Go God!

Indonesia: the largest Muslim nation is the world… where millions of souls are dying daily… where light is desperately needing to pierce the darkness… and where the lost are crying out for a Savior.
In March of 2008, the first long-term Burn team ventured over to this country to see the fire of God fall. The mission was to build a sustainable Burn furnace where Indonesians could come worship, intercede, and sit before their King. The long-term team committed to one year and will return to America in March 2009. But this isn’t the end. Brittany and I still have such a passion to see this thing through and to make sure it continues as not only a ‘prayer meeting’ but rather something that is rooted deep in their hearts. We will be taking a short-term team back over to Indonesia (Borneo) in July 2009 to join with the Burn that will already be blazing.
The team will be meeting with many pastors and churches here in the city and will also get the chance to do some village outreach in the jungles of Borneo. There will be many Indo Burners that are going to need encouragement; and so we plan to be that for them. We are so excited about this trip because we will get to see the fruits of hard labor that God will have watered… and we will get to plant more seeds… seeds that last. Indonesia will not be the largest Muslim nation for much longer. Amen. Please join us.

We are going to start our trip in Turin, which is the original ‘capital’ of Italy. This is a city where magicians out number Catholic priests three to one. It is considered the occult capital of Europe. In a city of great darkness, we will establish an altar unto the Lord. Igniting a fire of passion to burn in worship before the Lord, night and day.
Our biggest work will be to establish this furnace, burning even perhaps 48-72 hours! A few more days spent in Turin doing prayer journeys, ministry in home churches, and encouraging leaders and youth to fuel the fire of vertical worship. We will take a few days to minister to the rejected ones of Italy, refugees and orphans and those bound in prostitution.
After Turin we will take a five-hour journey south into the Tuscan region of Italy. Stopping in Florence which is the ’seat of the Renaissance”, where we will do more prayer to reclaim the arts and creativity for this generation. We will spend time reaching out to the street artists here, as God leads. We will spend another day establishing a furnace to burn with passionate worship before the Lord in the heart of Tuscany. We long to bring encouragement, hope and restoration and ‘new wine’ - the fire of God’s presence- to the body in Tuscany.

As an early apostolic epicenter, Turkey was bursting as this new message of Jesus was proclaimed with miraculous signs following. Many of Paul’s early church plants were started in this atmosphere of Pentecost fire. Sadly, over hundreds of years there were very few to stoke the flame and the fire has gone out.
This fall Burn Turkey seeks to fuel the restoration of this divine fire to the largest unreached Muslim nation per capita (2-4,000 followers in a land of 70,000,000).?As the sounds of the call to prayer are being broadcast from the mosques, a group of ardent worshipers will release a sound from heaven that unleashes the fire that once burned bright. Extravagant worship and intense intercession will rise to the heavens focusing on releasing God’s heart over Turkey.
Burn Turkey will network emerging leaders, ministries, and churches to assemble the foundation of a permanent house of prayer and worship in a target city. These local worshipers will continue to stoke the fire so leaders, workers, and nationals can gather the huge harvest in front of them.

This event will take place in the historically significant country of Turkey. Other than Israel, no other country has witnessed as much biblical history as Turkey. On the day of Pentecost people from different parts of present day Turkey stood in amazement as they heard the freshly spirit-filled disciples declare the greatness of God in their own languages. Later churches sprung up from this Pentecost fire.

Join us as we journey to the nations of India and Sri Lanka. We will Burn in these nations to see justice roll like a river and righteousness like a never failing stream. In the very streets, injustice runs rampant and many women and children are affected by the sex trade. We will Burn to see the Glory and Presence of God come and bring hope and healing to these nations, where lives are broken, shattered and torn. We will respond to the heart of God and go stand in the gap. To speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for those whose innocence has been stolen. Let justice roll on the streets of India and Sri Lanka…. For the women, for the children, for the nations….FREEDOM!
The Lord has burdened our hearts with this injustice for sometime now. When you actually let the reality of it sink in, your heart is ripped apart and you begin to hate what the enemy has done. However, we know there is a light up ahead and God is the God of restoration. We are praying and seeking God for the blueprints and the strategies of Heaven to come forth for this trip. What we are about to encounter is so dark and cold we must have Gods plan revealed and armies of angels to go before us.
Looking for musicians of all instruments so we can go there with a full band. We also want to welcome anyone to come who is a radical intercessor that wants to see walls come down in those nations. We plan to worship and pray outside some of the brothels. We plan to visit orphanages and rescue centers to show the love of Jesus. We plan to gather the church together and plant a Burn so they can continue night and day worship and intercession. If God is putting this burden and calling on your heart to come, then don’t hesitate.

COVENANT RELATIONSHIPS [Recap of week at YWAM in Kona, HI]

I hardly have the words to express all God did in the past week in Hawaii. It’s been a complete spirit BOMB and full on release on levels I’ve rarely seen before during a concentrated week of ministry. We truly went on a journey that went from “glory to glory! (1 Cor 3).
I had the honor and privilege of bringing some of my best friends (four young and fiery revivalist burners) with me to up light up the largest YWAM base in the world (University of the Nations in Kona, HI) for a corporate week gathering 6 individual schools (DTS) together for teaching, impartation, and fresh fire of His presence moving in our day. Our crew was made up of David Fritch (BURN 24-7) from Oklahoma, Jamie Dickinson (MHOP) from Maine, Roger Joyner (JHOP and THE CALL) from San Francisco, Joel Khouri (MorningStar) from Charlotte and myself. Each person in our squad carried a different message and facet of what “Restoring the Tabernacle of David” (Amos 9:11 – Acts 15:16) really looks like according to the Biblical framework established by King David and strong historical evidence revealed in the Moravians, Celts, and those who embarked on this same journey of cultural reformation in generations past.
We are amping up for our first ever FIRE AND FRAGRANCE school launch in January 09 as BURN 24-7 collides with YWAM (largest missions movement) longing for the true marriage of the worship and prayer movement joined together with the global missions initiative to see the darkest nations set ablaze with the glory of His Presence! Andy Byrd (YWAM) and the crew in Kona have been stoking the fire for months now in preparation and we were honored to “reap where others have sown” (John 4) and witness God do something extraordinary.
The collision and synergy of our hearts, messages, anointings, and personalities during the week created a messy, beautiful, wild, powerful picture of one of the most amazing miracles God is divinely working in a generation: COVENANT RELATIONSHIPS. When blazing embers are joined together, a fire erupts on the altar of our lives that releases sweet incense to the Lord and imparts truth deep into the heart of a generation joined together to see the nations transformed by His Presence. We saw this concept and idea become true reality this week and it was so much fun! Imagine that! Ministry that is actually fun, life giving and enjoyable!! (Although part of the “fun” factor was that this took place in one of the most beautiful places in the world with stunning waves, insane cliff jumping, and world famous coffee!)
Having spent the last three years extensively traveling the globe in many streams, movements and cultures, I have seen God birthing a strong desire in the hearts of his sons and daughters that is now becoming manifest in our midst. We are crying out not just for ministry “gigs”, strategies, alliances and partnerships – but authentic, raw, kingdom relationships. This is the only way we can truly grow, learn from each other, build character, develop our giftings and succeed at the unique callings on our lives. As “iron sharpens iron” (Prov 27:17) so we sharpen each other to be lovers, fighters, dreamers, and “more than conquerors” (Rom 8 ) in our families, work, ministries, and everything in life!
The impact of this convergence dropped like a jackhammer from the very first day when over hundred twenty-somethings came forward to be baptized in the Holy Ghost and the power of God fell leaving us all on the floor crying, laughing, and enjoying the glory of His Presence as deep waters flowed in and through us. As our ministry together came forth from a place of honor, brotherhood, and a genuine love for each other, God moved and we did not care who got the credit! We were just excited to be joined together in this pursuit while we worshipped, prophesied, taught, interceded, and witnessed incredible miracles and an outbreak of the supernatural Presence of God among us. It felt like the ministry was simply coming out of the overflow of the sweet dynamic of our relationships with each other. While recognizing no single one of us carries the “full” and complete picture of what God is desiring to release in this hour (no single stream has “one up” on everyone else), but is merely a “part” of the body acting in agreement with every other “part” (1 Cor 12), we can celebrate our individual anointings and callings and work together to see the fullness released. A people are coming forth determined to see personality conflicts and disagreements that have once torn the church apart become her greatest strength releasing diversity, uniqueness, and a “sharpening” of each other. This is a key to see lasting and sustaining impact take place that will bear fruit until the return of Jesus to the earth! Our relationships and genuine care for each other will bind us together as we will fight for each others dreams, goals, families, and callings!
It was no coincidence that the elections took place and were decided the same week that we gathered here with over 60 nations representing the body at large in the world! In the midst of the chaos, confusion, and questions on all our hearts over the final outcome, we joined together to stir up zeal, passion, and faith as the synergy of our relationships gave so much hope for all God is about to do in our nation and the earth. We gave our lives to each other and made a vow that we wouldn’t stop fighting together until we see God crack open our communities, cities, and nations with the fulfillment of all of His promises!!
We (BURN 24-7) desire to see this “grassroots” move of the BURNING ONES all over the earth continue to deepen their relationships to a place of brokenness, honesty, and accountability to those God has placed in our lives. I’m not referring to a controlling and manipulative spirit as indicated throughout history in past “shepherding movements.” But we are moving towards a day where we are actually going to keep each other accountable for far more than just staying away from sin, but actually fulfilling the dreams, destinies and mandates on our lives!! It’s more family oriented than ministry driven and a generation longing for authentic relationships will embrace it!! This is called the “furnace” of community and as we engage in this lifestyle it burns us to the core!
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
HEBREWS 10:24-25
LIGHT THE FIRE IN OUR COMMUNITES AND DRAW US TOGETHER IN COVENANT RELATIONSHIPS TO SPUR ONE ANOTHER ON FOR ALL GOD HAS FOR US!! THE KINGDOM IS AT HAND!!
