It’s been gorgeous colorful fall weekend here in Northern Europe and we’ve been experiencing a beautiful move of God’s Presence wash over the region. I’m in Holland with an incredible crew of Burning psalmists and musicians and we’ve been relentlessly releasing a sound of restoration, revival, and the coming Kingdom over the nation. God has faithfully poured out His presence on hungry hearts in our sessions and we’ve all been stunned at the healings, deliverances, and restoration that has taken place over the land and people here.

In a season of widespread political and economic turmoil, HIS KINGDOM is advancing forcefully and reading the reports and testimonies below will be a fresh reminder for you! Peek into all God is doing with the BURN movement around the world this month as things are continually expanding and increasing! The autumn rains are falling in cities from Salt Lake City, Utah to Kathmandu, Nepal to Antakya, Turkey to Austin, Texas!! “Perfect Peace at the Republican National Convention”

Amidst the whirlwind of competing agendas among republicans and democrats, anarchists and peaceful protestors, atheists and angry “Christians,” there was the disarming sound of living waters. The streets of St. Paul looked almost more like the streets of Bagdad outside the Republican National Convention. Rumors of terrorist and anarchist plots to disrupt the convention had the entire downtown area swarmed with swat teams, police, and the national guard. It was in the middle of all this that ministries from all over the Twin Cities united for what was called Operation Living Water. Christ-followers from all over the area united for non-stop prayer and worship at a church directly across from the state capitol for 4 consecutive days during the convention. While worship and intercession took place there, bands of believers took to the streets with guitars, djembes, and coolers with hundreds of free bottles of water to distribute to anyone who was thirsty. The water was put to good use on day one when swat teams unleashed tear gas on crowds of anarchists and protestors. One of our groups found themselves in the middle of a stampede of anarchists and protestors that were fleeing the barrage of tear gas and were able to minister real peace by washing the eyes of injured anarchists. As I hit the town on the final day of the convention to lead worship in the streets, I was amazed by the appreciation we received from police and anarchists a like. Crowds and cameras would flock to the music attempting to perhaps get a glimpse into what we were protesting and what our agenda could be, but found something beyond another worldly agenda of control…they found a sound of love without agenda. Many were seriously taken aback by someone simply offering them a bottle of cold water. Real kindness disarms people. Some were disarmed to tears as the kindness of a cup of cold water broke past their walls and defenses, and the presence of God was allowed to seep into the broken places of their heart through worship. Though it was chaotic, it was the perfect atmosphere for the Prince of Peace to work. And in the midst of all this tension between the kingdoms of this world, those that were truly searching for truth saw something in the Kingdom of Heaven which gave them hope.

When the Democrats came to Denver to nominate their candidate there was an air of excitement in every corner of the city. The Streets were packed with shirt venders, cops in riot gear, celebrities, and the people of God in full force being who they were called to be.

We called ourselves One Metro Denver—about 60 churches and hundreds of lovers of Jesus committed to acting justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly—all so that the world may truly see Him and know His love for them. During the four days of the Convention thousands of bottles of water, tubes of chapstick and travel-size bottles of sunscreen were handed out to everyone being assaulted by the mile-high air and the scorching sun—so that I midst of the politics of politics we could radically transform our community by addressing tangible needs. As some people were addressing people’s physical needs, others were addressing spiritual thirst.

Teams of people were our worshipping for four days straight in a tent perfectly situated on river leading up to the Pepsi Center, where the convention was held, others prayer-walked the streets of downtown, or just worshipped

The swirling plane propeller through the double layered glass seems to be inches from my head as it cuts through the dawn air while the sun creeps its way over Mt. Shasta looming large in the horizon. As I’m watching the evolution of another day unfold before my sleepless eyes, my mind is races with all the activities, revelation, meetings, and relationships formed and strengthened from the past two weeks journey. As we ready to launch the Fire and Fragrance School in Kona, HI in January 2009 – a beautiful relational partnership between BURN 24-7 and YWAM, my good friend Andy and I have been on a discovery across America. We have been visiting our friends and pioneers carrying an exceptional piece of DNA we so badly desire to be included in this training “fleshing out” the merging and collision of the worship and missions movements. It’s been an incredibly beautiful conflicting time mingling and connecting with different streams across the body of Christ that are moving into widespread influence around the world. They are all so wonderfully unique yet so distinctly different.

Since our initial launch in January of 2008, we’ve kept the fire going with monthly Burns, the majority 24-hours or more. We have blazed all over the valley thanks to various host churches reaching to the east in Park City, the north in Ogden and have a team that is willing to travel overnight to ignite a Burn in Price, UT.

Through the Burn, we have made connections with people all over the city with the heart for night and day. We have encountered various prayer rooms and ministries in which we are trying to work together allowing His presence to saturate Utah….

Burning in the Nations…

Burn Turkey Update By Jeremy P.

Just a few days ago, worshipers from all throughout Turkey and around the globe descended on Antalya for 60 hours of contending for revival in Turkey.   It was an amazing gathering of Turks, Koreans, Brazilians, Americans, Welsh, Canadians, Indians, and many others who lifted up a non-stop sound of worship, prayer, and prophetic proclamation that is still echoing across the nation!    We were joined by ten Burners from across the US who not only helped host this national Burn, but also helped model a new emerging wineskin fusing missions and worship into one!  Check out www.theburn247.com/turkey for videos from the trip!

Some of the highlights from the Burn Turkey Adventure were…

• Seeing a young Turk receive a vision of Jesus, be delivered from spiritual strongholds, filled with the Spirit of God, and begin to sing prophetically all in about 30 minutes during the National Burn
• Logging over 100 hours of worship and intercession for Turkey in strategic places including praying in 3 mosques during the Night of Power
• Re-digging the ancient spiritual wells at Ephesus, Laodicea, and Attalia originally dug by Paul, Luke, John, Mary the Mother of Jesus, and tons of other early apostles and leaders
• Spending hours and hours in relational, park, and musical outreach to kids and teens allowing them to experience the Truth through our interactions with them
• Releasing heavenly sounds in a café while connecting with and praying for those around
• Feeding the body and spirit of the local worker community through “Pancakes and the Presence,” where we fed workers priceless breakfast treats, imparted the vision of the Burn, and released prophetic prayer over their lives and ministries

The past month has been an amazing journey for our burning tribe scattered across the globe and we excited to share all the amazing updates, testimonies and stories of God’s faithfulness as His Presence invades and changes people, cities, and nations around the world. We have seen the fire of passionate and enjoyable worship and prayer ignite in new cities from Washington DC to Ankara, Turkey to Beijing, China!!

Right now I am writing from Borneo, Indonesia where our long term Burn Asia Team has been planted for the past six months contending for breakthrough in the largest muslim nation on the planet. The atmosphere is electric here as we gather the churches across the largest island to release their beautiful indigenous sound of BURNING before the Lord for the 4th time in 2 months! This nation is living proof that placing the first commandment first can change an entire culture around His Presence!

Global Burn Summit

This has been an amazing season for our BURN 24-7 tribe all across the globe! Our U.S. cities have quickly been positioned as the Esthers of America, contending for the destiny of a nation. God’s scepter is continually stretched over our worship as we sing and decree His will over the land. Recently, I have been reminded of a vision I had five years ago of America. I remember praying with much fervor as the Lord took me up in the spirit where I saw the continent of the United States below me. The land mass was sunk into a deep pit. Standing in the atmosphere above America were tons of young people with instruments in their hands. They were playing and singing passionately before the Lord. Then I saw ropes dangling from these worshipers which stretched all the way down to the very ground of the nation. As they played, they began to pull America out of her pit!!!! These young people were “David’s” hurling rocks and taking out giants in the land. They were “Miriam’s” who led the people out with their praise. We are in that season now. Our non-stop, unrelenting vertical worship is changing the very core of America!! And… we have no other option!

Burn Wagon Report:

We didn’t believe it could happen, most people around us didn’t think it could either, but it did! On July 28, a group of 26 radical God followers from 3 different generations jumped on a elderly 1970 greyhound bus with dreams of igniting fires of Revival everywhere they went. It was our vision to rally the body of Christ in cities all over the USA, to call them back to their first love and to stir the waters of intercession for a nation in crisis. What we encountered on this trip has changed, or should I say, “wrecked” our lives forever.

Our worn out, yet ever so cool hippie greyhound bus with massive flames painted on it, took us to gatherings all along the southern United States and up the East Coast as far as Manhattan. Along the way, we met the faithful remnant who have been contending for an awakening. It was this hungry tribe of intercessors, worshipers and warriors that gave us hope that America has not been forgotten by God. He has awakened the watchmen; though they are small in number, they are powerful in spirit. These are the ones that have been captured by the heart of God to see a church moving with living fire and a nation returning to God! Although this remnant gave us hope, we also felt the sorrow of God over the true condition of the church in America.

When genocide hits Rwanda, Kenya, The Congo, Zimbabwe we must believe that we were weeping along side our Creator.

When children are forced to become soliders, porters, and sex slaves during the ongoing 20+ year Ugandan civil war we must believe that God is not only weeping but again sending out the Call, just as He did to Isaiah, saying ” Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” We must answer the Call and join in with Him and be a part of extending his heart of reconcilation to the nations knowing that it takes faith, it takes willingness, and it takes obedience. Most of all though it takes us standing up gazing into the firery eyes of the Creator and saying, ” Here I am, send me”.

This trip will include times of Burning along the locals in villages, medical ministry to the needy, loving on orphans as well as participating in The Call Kenya., The Call Kenya is going to be a massive time of repentance, calling on God, and seeing God come and rend the Heavens over East Africa. Uganda and Kenya are both PREGNANT WITH THE GLORY OF GOD!!

The world started the year watching Kenya burn in Tribalism and violence, but she will end the year watching her Burn with Fire for God. This is a historic time in the hinge of history for the world, and especially for Africa. God is calling her to step into her destiny, and we are heeding the Call.

God is raising up Africa for such a time as this!!

I just wanted to shoot you a little video of all God is doing in Byron Bay, Australia and give you a peek inside the fiery hot BURN furnace we had this weekend!! It feels like home again with my friends here and its been an incredible time in the Presence of God. He has come and stoked our passion, love, and zeal for His face while we let the furnace of His love consume us down to the core of our character, integrity, and person. Bottom line - He is CHANGING AUSTRALIA and the nations of world will see His faithfulness!! There is a shift happening over this great south land as we gathered the tribe from all over the region and contended on the most Easterly point of the continent this weekend and proclaimed - THAT THE KING OF GLORY WOULD COME IN (Psalm 24)!!

The burden of the Lord’s heart left us with an incurable wound. We tasted of His grief over a nation and a church He loves so dearly and we will never be the same. We moved from city to city feeling the same pain and sorrow that the Lord has for His people and in turn we were moved to repentance. As Americans, we had to own the sins of our nation. We couldn’t separate ourselves from it anymore. Night after night we found ourselves on our faces crying out to the Lord for mercy. A spirit of repentance followed us everywhere we went.

We were led so graciously by His Spirit to individuals along the way that were ready to open their hearts to His love and mercy. In Shreveport, we encountered three teenage girls that received Jesus into their lives after one of the girls received an interpretation to a dream by one of the guys on the team. It was beautiful to watch these girls weep as they were prayed for, prophesied to, hugged, and encouraged! Ministry times like this made the trip worth the suffering that we encountered. However, the trials we encountered were just as significant and life changing as anything else God did—if not more.

Our aging bus became the tool God used to test us, try us and heal us! The air-conditioning went out, the tire blew out, the steering wheel fell off, the door broke and wouldn’t stay shut and the generator went out several times! All this translated to showing up later than we expected, hot, sweaty, agitated, and stressed out. These trials along with a host of other problems exposed our flesh—namely our selfishness, our impatience, our insecurities and our bad attitudes. Yet it provided God-moments of forgiveness, and healing that were so desperately needed. I can’t count how many times I turned around to see a group praying, weeping, and confessing their sins on the bus. I believe more growth happened during these three weeks than happens over the course of a year. Being confined to small spaces with 26 individuals for three weeks will definitely provide opportunities to grow!

On the Burn Wagon God changed our lives forever! He gave us his heart for a nation, ignited hope through seeing a fiery remnant, and brought healing and restoration to our individual lives. I believe the mission was accomplished. I am excited to see all that God will do as we release four Burn Wagon’s across the nation next summer! Jump on the Bus!

Jesus reigns in Indonesia! Jesus reigns in Indonesia!! JESUS REIGNS IN INDONESIA!!! Amidst all the curses from the Muslim mosques around the city, the cry in my heart echoes above all else. It is a cry of truth, a cry of freedom, a cry of desperation. It is a cry that seemingly goes unheard as everyday a Muslim woman cloaks herself head to foot in clothes that do nothing but mask the chains that bind her. It is an anguish that appears to go unseen as everyday another ‘Allah-fearing’ man routinely kneels to pray misunderstood promises to a false god.

How do I change that?

I long to see such a dark nation burning with passion for the true God. If I were to know that none of my prayers would produce a difference that I would actually ever get the chance to see… Would I still beg God for the souls of this land? My answer is yes. This is my labor of love and so, I laboriously love these people who live life daily without knowing the Life. I adore his children who believe a lie, yet need the Truth. The spirit of the living God inside of me aches for relationships with the lost, and so I obey in hope to provide Light to the Way. We are the salt of the earth and the light of this world. Let’s let our light shine before all men!!! I am determined to not let the darkness that suffocates the nations, keep me quiet.

Death is the only cure.

I have to consecrate myself day by day. I am living to die and dying to live. I cannot afford to wait. Every day that passes and every minute that ticks by, is lost time in the countdown of the race for souls of the unsaved. We are called for such a time as this. Satan is not backing down and neither will I. God is raising up his army of radical, passionate worshipers and intercessors. I will join with them by pleading for God’s mercy and grace to shower on Indonesia. I will unite with those warriors to contend for Indonesia to fall on her face in worship. “May his glory cover the earth just as the waters cover the sea.” One day, the largest Muslim nation in the world with bow and hail him as King.

The sooner the better.

The world grows more corrupt by the secon- let worship arise. Adultery is a sin- may Indonesia repent. Millions of people are dying- Satan will pay. There is no time to lose.

BURN WAGON

Have we forgotten about America?  Have we thrown in the towel and decided that it’s too late for our nation to turn back to the King?  It’s not too late for America!  Everything can be changed through worship, intercession and repentance. The King won’t relent until He has it all and so why should we? The fire of God will spread from coast to coast in this country.  We must seek His Presence!!!  In a few short days, a relentless group of faithful followers are rising up to answer the cry of a nation with a dream in their heart.  The dream is to see the greatest nation on earth turn back to God with complete reckless abandonment.

BURN CHINA

Igniting 4 cities in 14 Days to Change a Nation!

(Please be careful about who you forward this too. While we greatly covet your prayers, the information contained here is sensitive, and for security purposes, must be handled with care.)
1.32 billion souls. One government party desperate for control. One God desperate for His Bride. In a nation yielded to the spiritual forces of darkness, the body of Christ suffers greatly and She is asking for our help.

On 08.08.08, the Olympic games begin in Beijing. But during this season, the Father has purposed to release His own New Beginning in China. There are seven notes in an octave. The eight begins a new octave, and we know that there is a new sound that God is releasing in China from within His people, a new song for a new season of harvest!

Although Chinese law states it supports freedom of religion, Christians there know this is far from reality. Those refusing to register with the government church are forced to meet “underground” in people’s homes or small facilities.
There is as cry coming from the church in China – teach us about worship! We are going with this purpose. We will be gathering house churches to train, equip, encourage, serve, support and WORSHIP. We are going as sons and daughters of encouragement. We are going to impart the heart of the Burn so that the DNA of the Burn can further launch the Chinese church into their Kingdom purpose.
Please pray for us during the next 3 weeks. Pray for us to walk in supernatural wisdom, protection, anointing, and guidance. Prayer that great and effective doors would be opened to us!

An estimated 150 million have come to Christ in the last several decades! However, more than a billion souls in China alone have yet to hear the gospel. Our partnering with them is ultimately a part of fulfilling the Matthew 24:14 prophecy of Jesus: “This gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in every nation (ethnos) as a witness, and then the end shall

come”.

God will give us the treasures [souls] of darkness [communist China] and riches [souls] from secret places [underground church]. (Is 45:1-3)

There is a strong sense that as the Lord sends us into this nation, He is allowing us to leave an impact that will have multiplying, eternal effects, just as a rock thrown into still water sends ripples far and wide. God said to Abraham, “In blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply you”. We are being sent in the power of that promise, that what happens on this journey will go far beyond us!

Welcome to the Burn 24-7 April Newsletter!!

The purpose of this email is to fill you in on all the latest and greatest stuff God is doing with this exploding and burning movement across the globe!!

I am writing this from the beautiful city of Amsterdam in The Netherlands. We have been on our faces with global leaders praying, worshipping, and strategizing for how this BURNING movement is going to spill out of the prayer room and completely turn the world upside down. We are dreaming of communities, culture, and nations being shifted by cultivating these “resting places” for God’s Presence. We are not going to just stop there though! The global prayer movement cannot miss the entire point of why we are burning night and day. Its for far more than goosebumps, our selfish needs, or to just say we are going 24/7. We are contending and believing for the marriage of the prayer and missions movement to fulfill the Acts 15:17 purpose of it all. The tabernacle of David is to be rebuilt so that ” the rest of humanity may seek the Lord!” Its all about the lost!! We are believing that God’s presence will be poured out like never before in April to bring forth a harvest of fruit in May that the world has never seen!! As the saying goes - April showers will bring May flowers!! Do it Lord!!

Burn family across the world..

Be apart of this radical move God is doing in Nepal and India by helping send Sean and Kate in May to ignite the furnace of worship and prayer, conduct evangelism outreach to the unreached areas of the Buddhist and Hindu world, train up pastors, worship leaders, and burners to contend for their land, and provide mercy ministry to the destitute and hopeless.

A massive calling and burden for this trip is to partner with local and indigenous organizations to rescue women and child prostitutes out of the sex trade. This is a widespread epidemic in Nepal and India right now and the body of Christ has to stand up and do something about it! Just like the book of Amos declares “Let Justice Roll!!”
We are longing not only for 24/7 furnaces of God’s Presence to be established…but also for justice and righteousness to reign in those lands.

We are fundraising hard for this and asking for people to sow a seed into these nations to see revival spread like fire across the Himalayan region of the world! We are still in need of $4,000 to help cover the cost of the trip and are also praying for an abundance beyond that to take care of our bills while we are gone for an entire month! We have only 2 weeks left to raise this money and are believing God for a miracle!
