Greetings family and friends, Brittany Ecklind here……

I just wanted to give you all an update with how things are coming along with my upcoming journey to Indonesia. God has His hand on this mission. I know without a shadow of a doubt that He wants our team there, and He has major plans for that country.

I now have a team of 4 people. John Parks, Rob Reilley, and Natalia Baker are all from Houston, Texas. I met them at the Shatter Conference in Dallas and immediately felt a connection. They have been involved with Burn Houston and have a heart to see the Nations surrender to the Lord of ALL. I could not have asked for a better group of radical passionate worshipers to partner with me.

I have known about this mission for about 7 months now, so I have been preparing financially and with much needed prayer. Our deadline for the full amount was due on February 1st and I already had 50% covered. I knew that this is where God wanted me and I had faith He would provide, BUT I must admit I was getting a little anxious! PRAISE THE LORD…..
On January 2nd of this new year, God set up a total divine appointment with the couple who would write me a whopping $13,000 check. I had met these wonderful people just ONE hour before they radically gave. What an unbelievable confirmation. What a testimony to God’s faithfulness to His children.

God is so in love with Indonesia. He has His eye on those people, and He is calling out to them! I am so thrilled that I am able to go and be apart of this Historical time. We are just 4 of the army God is raising up to see all tribes, tongues, and nations bow before Him in worship.

I just want you all to know that we are in this together. You are sending this team out with your support and intercession. We could not do this with out all of you. I just want to thank you so much for believing in this.
Your monthly support is still greatly needed. I will be able to give to the local ministries and the orphanage we will be involved with. Your support is being used to see Indonesia saved from the generations of bondage. Jesus reigns in Indonesia.

I will be keeping you all updated more frequently now that our departure is coming up. March 8th, we are all leaving from Houston.

The time is coming. On March 4th, our team of 4 radical burners will be departing for the wonderful land of INDONESIA! We have a heart to see this Nation fall on its knees. This is our Mission and our Vision….

Our mission is to see the presence of God transform a broken Nation. We are a people of the presence and it is the presence of God that transcends age, language, and cultural boundaries. It is in the presence of God where hearts are changed, the sick are healed, the dead are raised, and lives are revolutionized. It is this very thing that lives in us and we are commissioned to share with the world.

Along side out passion to impart anointed vertical worship, throughout this year we will also be discipling the lost and creating a community of love sick people who are seeking the heart of God. We want to replace religion with intimacy and raise up radical passionate worshipers who will ignite their Nation. A people who will contend for the sustaining presence of the One true God. As He moves…. we move.

First of all, I just want to tell you all to be encouraged during this fast.
About two weeks ago, I ended a very intense 21 day fast. I have never felt that sort of NEED for the word and for prayer. This is what we were created for, to deny our flest and to take up our cross and go even stronger. Being that dependant on the Lord will teach you some intense lessons, most of them are not too much fun! But in the end….. you become so much stronger than you were before.

TOTAL PRAISE REPORT……

Sean and Katie are here in Charleston, SC, with me and the rest of the fam. Yesterday they had a meeting with a pastor and his wife who have a heart to see a Burn started here.
I honestly do not know how I ended up in this meeting…. God is so good to me.
Sean mentioned a little about what the team and I will be doing throughout the year.
The Pastor told us that he and his wife have had hearts for Indonesia for over 6 years, and they were intrigued with what we are going over to do. For the rest of the meeting they kept asking me questions of what the team will be needing. They are the sweetest couple.

When the meeting was coming to a close, Katherine, the pastors wife, came up to me and handed me a $13,000 check!!

CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!!! WHOOOOAAAA!!!

God had promised with His mouth, and with His hand he has fulfilled it.

Everyone has been saying that this year, 2008, is going to be the year of new beginnings. And I have already experienced this to the fullest. January 2nd of 2008 is a day I will NEVER forget.
