The Burn is over and I look back at the last 24 hours and praise God for all He has done!! We truly do have a God who operates in an upside down kingdom, an amazing thing. His Kingdom is not about position, personal agendas or “success” by man’s standards but about intimacy with Him. The One who loves us the most and His greatest desire is for relationship with us, our presence with Him. As this Burn was prayed into for preparation, the Lord gave a picture, a table set for two with the fine china, gold and white linens and candlelight with a red rose on one plate and the Lord’s Supper on the other. A place to sit with Him that is intimate and still. So a place of honor was set for that special time with Him in worship. It truly was an amazing time to see the moving of His Spirit over His people as some sat quietly at the table and others wept, some danced or waved flags in worship and some laid face down on the floor. All in honor and pursuit of more of Him. It is so hard to explain seeing the mist of His Presence fill a room as each person worshiped, my words seem inadequate. But I do know this, He loves us and is pursuing us and is pleased with our sacrifices of praise.

Our next Burn will be Friday, October 31st starting at 7 pm to Saturday, November 1st ending at 7 pm. The Burn will be held at Community Christian Center, 202 N. 42nd, Garden City. Our desire is to call in the Presence and glorify the King of Kings and Lord of Lords on the very night the forces of darkness are attempting to overtly impact our world. As we love on the Lord and celebrate Him, He will bring His Kingdom!!

It is time to change the atmosphere and call for heaven to invade Boise and the greater Treasure Valley. As we contend and stand as watchmen on the wall, we co-operate with bringing Boise’s true destiny as a CITY OF REFUGE!!!! Our next Burn is:

The Presence of the Lord was absolutely thick in the room and worshipers in the front were totally abandoned to focused worship to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Raised hands, dancing, painting, laying on the floor soaking in the Presence, each person was moving in freedom as they worshiped. As the Burn ended, testimonies were shared of breakthrough in individuals lives and what they saw as a corporate breakthrough in Grace throughout our valley. One worshiper shared that she saw conversations in restaurants that were taking place after the bars had closed in the early hours of the morning being changed as the Glory of the Lord was called into the valley. Each agreed after sharing that the Burns matter and that an army is being raised to reach the lost. That as we worship, the harvest is being prepared for truth. Thank you Jesus that You go before us and prepare the way and as we become totally filled and empowered, reaching the lost is like breathing the Presence on all around us.

Lord, we Burn for YOU and hunger for all YOU have for us so that we may reach the world in your name!!!!

My 13 year old daughter had finished painting and decided to stop by the writing and drawing table. She began drawing a picture she titled “Path Of Faith”. She wasn’t pleased with the first copy and decided to start over. Finally she finished her pictures and decided to take them home but left the two that didn’t meet her standards and figured someone would throw them away. After we left the Burn that night, a woman had received a word from the Lord and had written it in her journal. It was about a path of faith and how our walk of faith needed road signs, guidepost etc. Finished with her journal entry, she walked past the drawing table and laughed out loud when she saw the pictures my daughter had drawn titled “Path of Faith”. I was unaware of this until the next day…….

The next day we returned to the Burn only to find that someone had decided to share their journal entry on several pieces of paper with my daughters pictures on the top and bottom, and it was taped to the wall. I glanced at them and since I didn’t give more than a glance the night before, the pictures seemed familiar but I wasn’t certain. I asked my husband if they were our daughter’s pictures and he wasn’t sure either. A woman came to me and asked if I knew who drew them…I said…my daughter…we hugged and she told me in her words how God had used the pictures.

When I told my daughter that her pictures were on the wall at church I was able to share that even when we think our work isn’t how it should be or it didn’t turn out how we had planned or it wasn’t “good enough” in our eyes, that God can and will still use what we offer in a powerful way. Sometimes we get to hear the impact our simple worship or offering and what a gift it is when we do. Her face was pleased the next day when we went to church to see her work displayed …and that He thought it was good enough to be hung on the wall of the church. It was perfect in His eyes.
