Our friend Robert Coello, director of Burn Honduras and Streams Latin America, and all around fire starter will be leading us in an evening of harp-and-bowl style worship.  We’ll be contending for His Presence in central Ohio and loving on our amazing God.   This is a one-time-only event while Robert is here in the states with us.  We’ve worshiped with Robert before and it was good stuff.  You don’t want to miss it!

At the heart of the global Burn 24/7 vision are city-wide gatherings where prophetic worship and intercession is released for an entire 24 hour day.  For us to be true to this mandate, we are asking for a church to step forward and open their doors for a Friday thru Saturday night in the near future.  We are seeking at least a dozen worship teams/musicians to step forward and commit to this one day to release fire into our city.  Email us if you can be one of those. 
 
We have enjoyed the unique weekly mini-burns, and the Father has smiled upon this with His presence.  Yet, there is so much more of Him that will be released in a dynamic city-wide gathering … let’s pursue Him …. there is nothing better than wasting ourselves on Him!

While we are no longer having mini-Burns, we will continue to gather at the Espresso Yourself cafe on Sunday nights at 6:30pm for fellowship and teaching in a casual, un-church atmosphere.  We’ll be sharing about the art of hearing God, living in the Spirit (both in character and becoming naturally supernatural), dream interpretation and prophetic evangelism.  We intend this to become a safe place to practice the Spiritual gifts and take risks.  Shoot us an email if you want to know more!

To better accommodate everyone’s schedules, we are moving back the time we start our mini-Burns.  We will worship from 8-10pm, instead of beginning at 6.  Hope to see you there!

This weekend Burn Columbus is supporting Lima’s 24hour “Call2Worship&Prayer.”  They’re doing it Burn-style, with worship and intercession working together nonstop.  There are some hand-drumming warriors up there–it’ll be worth the drive! 

There’s a spiritual principle that God will respond when we sow into someone else what we desire for ourselves.  We want to see God’s presence invade Columbus, so let’s pour ourselves into Lima’s cry for a Holy Spirit invasion!

While we work on scheduling a 24hour burn, we are having weekly times of worship and intercession at Espresso Yourself Music Cafe, 50 W. Olentangy St., Powell, OH 43065.  We meet there every Sunday night from 6-10pm.  The food and the coffee are great, but the counter closes at 6, so come early enough to get something before we start. 

 Please note that on May 4th we will be starting at 7:30pm…a little later than usual. 

 Every week is different, depending on the musicians and what the Holy Spirit wants to do.  We are all for allowing freedom to try new things…both for the Spirit to do new things in and through us, and for us to try new ways to express our worship and intercession.  So if you visit and see something unusual….well let’s just hope you do. 

We loved Burning alongside everyone at the Cafe last Sunday.  We will be contending again this Sunday night for that “inner court” place.  Once we find ourselves in His midst, our joy is to soak and intercede for our city!   We are convinced that by flowing in His Spirit we will transform the atmosphere in our lives, in our homes, at our jobs, and in our CITY - that’s BLAZIN with JESUS! 

This week we will open the Burn at 6pm with a Drum Circle!  So bring your drums, sticks, shakers, tambourines, and noisy stuff.  You don’t have to feel talented!  It’s not a performance - it’s our passion.

God has arranged an amazing partnership with the brother who owns Espresso Yourself Music Cafe in Powell. (50 W. Olentangy St) www.espressoyourselfmusiccafe.com  He closes at 6pm on Sundays, and then he turns the place over to us for worshiping Jesus!  We’ll be burning this Sunday, April 13th, as well as next Sunday on the 20th, from 6-10pm…all leading up to our Burn Preview with Sean Feucht on Friday April 25th.  When you come to the cafe, come early enough to get a latte and a panini, and support his business.  Plus, we’ll be hanging out there, so it’ll be a blast!

We are gearing up for April 25th though, so save the date!  That’s a Friday night at 7pm.  We’re calling it a Burn Preview.  Director Sean Feucht will be with us to share some of his contagious passion for the vision of raising up furnaces of worship and prayer.  If you aren’t sure what we’re doing, or why, or if you’re having a hard time explaining it to someone else…this is the event to come to!
