Hey burners!!! God has been moving like crazy all over since this last burn in October! We took this next season to really pray and seek God’s heart for the next season. We wanted to make sure we did not rush into anything, and to make sure we are walking in the will of God. Well, the doors are open, and here is a quick run down of the next couple of months!!!

 November Flames!

November 29th! More information to come. This will be a night of worship, prayer, intercession! More details are to come! Keep your eyes open on this one.

December at Antioch Baptist!

Yes! December 26-27 we will be back at Antioch Baptist for 24 nonstop hours of vertical worship and intercession!  We were at Antioch in September, and the Presence of God was so thick in that place that it carried over through the rest of the weekend! There is a testimony on here that you should read. People were getting on fire for God at a funeral shortly after the burn!! More details about this next burn will be up on the site ASAP!

January Blaze! 

That’s right guys! January 24th we will be blazing at Abundant Life again! There has been an awesome community of radical worshipers arising in the Canton/Westland area outside of Detroit. We will be joining with them again in January for a sunrise to sunset burn!

THE FIRE IN OCTOBER!

The burn this past weekend was on fire!!! 24 straight hours of worship and prayer in the presence of God! New sounds were released and new dances were danced!!! There was such a sweet spirit in that place! Abundant Life opened up their doors and let the presence of God rest in there! It was so awesome! There was a lady, one of the intercessors, who had been at the pre-burn meeting that Thursday. She was so on fire from the meeting, that she stayed up all night praying the night before burn! She then went on throughout her day, and stayed up the entire 24 hours praying and soaking and dancing in His presence!!! I really feel there was a substantial flame sparked in the hearts of many people out of this burn, that has no intention of ever dying out. Rather, it will ever be growing and spreading, chasing away the darkness and spreading the Light of Christ! What an awesome burn! God is so good!!! Thank you all for coming and letting God fan the flames inside of you! Keep it burning in your heart, and spread all over this city!
THE VISION

There is an army arising among the nations of the earth…are you part of them? They are lovesick worshippers and artists, unrelenting and passionate intercessors, and faithful followers of Jesus Christ…

The Metro Detroit area is ready to Burn.

Right now, Detroit is ready to go beyond the “superficial Christianity” that plagues her churches. There is a remnant that is willing to forsake all for the very heart of God, and to Burn before the Lord in night and day worship and intercession as was in the Biblical Tabernacle of David.

At Burn Detroit, communities of believers will cross denominational boundaries, and gather to worship and pray together so that God would shake a generation from their slumber with His holy fire!

BURN DETROIT has been established to allow an atmosphere of authentic prayer and worship to God that is not fabricated to please any man. It is our prayer that as our city unites to pursue the heart of God, that His presence would fill the city and we would see a revival unlike any that we’ve ever experience before!

Matthew 9:37 says “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.” The harvest is here, and the sound of heaven will be heard in Detroit through the prayers and worship of His people, and the heart of God will be heard throughout the region.

Revival is now!

Burn Detroit has been burning since June, 2007. The vision of this movement was brought here after Terrell Pierce, the director of Burn Detroit, attended the first Burn in the Twin Cities earlier that year in April. God began to open doors and set up a way to establish this ministry in Detroit.Since then, we have held many more Burns, spreading the fires all over the metro-detroit area! We joined with the Regional House of Prayer and the International Burn Missions Team to Turkey in having a Burn during Ramadan! We were interceding and crying out to God for all of the Muslims across this world, but especially in the Dearborn region. For this, we called this one Burn: Dearborn, for we were praying to tear down the Islamic stronghold in our region and all across the world. The next month we teamed up with Pastor Alvarez and My Father’s House Church to hold a 12 hour Burn out in Taylor. Sean Feucht, the founder of Burn 24-7 came out to help us launch our first Burn Preview, as well as Paul Anleitner from Burn Twin Cities, and the fire was in that place! Every one felt it. Out of just that one meeting, we began to receive support from all different directions. We are now currently seeing our vision established firmly in Detroit become more of a reality each and every day. GOd has bringing so many people our way, hard laborers for Christ, who are helping to mobilize this movement, spreading it across the entire city! We are incorporating dance ministries to give of themselves before the Lord, banners are being made to wave before God, and we are in the process of having prophetic artists come in to sketch and paint the revelations God puts into their minds.It is our prayer that you will assist us in igniting the flame in our city. We are believing that when this catches in Detroit, the fire will spread all across the cities of this state, from Pontiac to Lansing, to Cadillac, anywhere the Lord is present. We believe that this will revolutionize the way people view worship and bring them to a deeper place of intimacy with their Father. Let us Burn together.
